Originally worshiped and seen as an ambivalent being, during the Third Intermediate Period the people vilified him and turned him into a god of evil.... (5th November)
- Being retrenched due to lack of clients at my place of employment, I have updated my resume. I am looking for a web development role that focuses on strong HTML skills. I have also been using ASP, JavaScript, perl, and other web page related languages over the last 4 years. During my last year, I have also worked with graphics using both PhotoShop 5.5 and 6, as well as Paint Shop Pro 5. I would be happy to learn web design to complement my web development skills. (3rd November)

Other articles about the gods and goddesses have been updated to add more pictures, mostly the older articles, but why not have a look around my Egyptology Column and see what images I've added to the different articles! ^_^ (18th October)
- The Egyptian 'Lotus' - Nymphaea Caerulea, the Blue Water Lily - Called a 'lotus', the depictions of the floral symbol of Upper Egypt is actually known as a Nymphaea caerulea which is actually known today to be a water lily. - Taweret, Goddess-Demoness of Birth, Rebirth and the Northern Sky... - Taweret was the ancient Egyptian goddess of maternity and childbirth, protector of women and children. - Alex Chiu's 'Immortality' Rings Diary - Two weeks have passed since I started using these rings. (Though I really don't get why they're called 'Immortality' Rings because Alex Chiu himself states that you can die even with these rings. Talk about contradicting yourself!! (27th September)

- Bes, God-Demon of Protection, Childbirth and Entertainment... - Bes was an ancient Egyptian dwarf god who was a god of protection against evil with his tambourine or harp, swords, maces and knives. Previous to being given the name 'Bes', he was known as the demonic 'Aha' ('fighter') because of his ferocity - he was thought to have been able to strangle bears, lions, antelopes and snakes with his bare hands. In this role, despite being thought of as a demon, he was seen as a supporter of Ra, helping to defeat his serpent enemies. (25th September)
- My Alex Chiu's 'Immortality' Rings Diary - I've kept one for one week, so far - shows how I have (or haven't, as the case may be) been affected by these supposed medical wonders, reputed to stop you ageing and to heal your scars and illnesses by using the body's chi/ki. (19th September)
- Renenutet, Goddess of Suckling, the Name and Protection... - Renenutet, "She Who Rears", was a cobra goddess of nursing or rearing children, fertility and protector of the pharaoh. Known as the "Nourishing Snake", she not only was a goddess who was sometimes shown nursing a child, but she offered her protection to the pharaoh in the land of the dead. (18th September)
- Attacking Children? These Actions MUST be Condemned! - I really am sickened, and I can't believe that people can do things like this. Disasters usually bring out the best in people... but these people are sickening. I pray to the Lord that these people will change, just as I pray for the friends, families and victims of this tragedy. (13th September)
- Min, God of Fertility, Power and the Eastern Desert... - Min was one of the Egyptian gods worshiped from predynastic times who was originally worshiped as a fetish, but became the ithyphallic god of sexuality, fertility, protection and the east that the Egyptians venerated through history. - My Anime Expo 2001 page is now (finally) live!!! Yay! Check out my AX photos and journal!!! (3rd September)
- Can you do me a favour? I need 40 unique hits to get one of these rings for 'free', so I can write a review on them in my ex-Themestreams area. I hope to write an unbiased review (though if they don't let me sleep, like some people are saying, I'll be writing a rather ... negative review!) about them, and tell you all what they did (if anything) for me. Want to help get me the unique hits (one hit will do, thank you)? If so, go to: Alex Chiu's Site (WARNING: I do not believe in or promote any of his other theories, so be very careful with them.) And why not find out about Christianity, too, just incase you do die with the rings... ^_~ (31st August)

- The Inundation - Until the Aswan High Dam was built, Egypt received a yearly inundation of the Nile. Although the ancient Egyptians did not realise the cause of the inundation - they believed it was the coming of a god - the flood was a very important event in the lives of all Egyptians. (28th August)
- Kunoichi's Chat is back! I'm not quite sure how good this new version is (it was designed to totally run on another system, which is pretty useless IMO, when I have my own site), so if anything doesn't work as it should, please e-mail me at kunoichi@thekeep.org - Thanks! (22nd August)
- Hapi, God of the Nile, Fertility, the North and South... - Hapi was both god of Upper and Lower Egypt, each form with a different name - the Upper Egyptian Hapi was called 'Hap-Meht' while the Lower Egyptian Hapi was known as 'Hap-Reset'. Hapi was a deity of fertility - he provided water, food and the yearly inundation of the Nile. Without Hapi, Egypt would have died, and so he was sometimes revered even above Ra, the sun god. (21st August)
- Nut, Sky Goddess, Mother of the Gods... - To the ancient Egyptians she was the personification of the sky and the heavens. She was thought to be the mother of five children on the five extra days of the Egyptian calendar - Osiris, Horus the Elder, Set, Isis and Nephthys. (14th August)
- A few more photos have been added to my Manifest 2000 page. (It's been a while, but I just got around to scanning those photos!) (9th August)
- Well, as Manifest is getting close (three days, in fact!), I've made up a Yahoo Club for the little Melbourne Anime Con. - Want to get more hits on your site? Check out my adverts page to see how! (14th June)
- Animals and the Gods of Ancient Egypt - Egyptian towns usually had their own local sacred animal. It was thought that some gods and goddesses represented themselves on earth in the form of a single representative of a specific species, and honouring that species of animal would please the god or goddess associated with the animal. (13th June)

- Isis, Sister of Nephthys, Mistress of Magic... - Unlike her twin sister Nephthys, Isis (Ast, Aset) is one of the most famous goddesses of ancient Egypt.
