EGYPT REVEALED, ET AL - INFORMATIONAL REPORT #7 DATED 06/17/02 REGARDING: Discovering Archaeology, Archaeology Today, Egypt Revealed, The Glory of Ancient Egypt (ordered through Circa Media) and Dinosaur Magazines. ALSO REGARDING: Egypt Revealed Expedition Tour of Egypt that was canceled in August of 2001 and no refunds yet given. ALSO REGARDING: Seven Wonders Travel Dear Fellow Subscriber or Interested Party: First off, the issue of monies owed by Seven Wonders Travel to Ancient Egypt Studies Association (AESA) members regarding the Egypt Revealed Symposium in Seattle last October has been resolved (see Report #4 dated 05/13/02). This is good news! Secondly, thanks to the perseverance of Chris from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, we now have the contact information for the U.S. Postal Service. Chris indicates that if the service/payment was solicited or sent via U.S. Mail (and that would cover ALL the magazine subscriptions, whether you subscribed on the Internet or not) we all need to file a complaint with: Inspector Moreno US Postal Inspector Service P.O. Box 33250 San Antonio, TX 78265-3250 210-368-8449 emmoreno@uspis.gov Chris has communicated with Inspector Moreno and the Inspector indicates that he would be interested in hearing from everyone affected by these magazine scams so long as the service/payment was solicited or sent via U.S. Mail. I have sent a communication off to him today myself and encourage ALL OF YOU to do the same in the very near future. Also, just tonight I heard that there are three lawsuits forming against Jeff Leach. I am in the process of ascertaining the contact information for the attorney. Once I have received that information, I will be contacting him to find out if there is any information I can offer to assist in his investigation and, to advise him of the 120+ individuals such as yourself who have been financially damaged by Jeff Leach.
