You know, one thing that I find quite amusing on MUCKs is the amount of males playing female characters. Not the funniest of all are the males that play females... (wait for it!) ... to have online sex with other 'females'!

Do they realise that these 'females' are, in fact, other males pretending to be females, to get online sex with other 'females', too?

When you think about it, it's really two guys having online sex together... kind of says something about those guys, if you ask me. ^^;

(But, if they're lucky, they may get an online lesbian who is playing a female character, or a female bisexual... but 90% of time time, it's just another guy!)

Anyway, here's a much more indepth look at guys who play female characters, and not just on MUCKs for sex! Gender Bending in Games - includes survey data from the guys who play the girls, and reasons as to who, what, where, when and why. (Well, 'why' at any rate! ^_^ )
