Archæology, Egyptology: Attending the lectures at the Ancient Times House, reading books and other information on these subjects. I have my own Egyptology column that I update weekly.
Computing: HTML programming with vi, and other text editors and JavaScripting. Knowledge of Toolbook and of creating web pages using Oracle databases. I have a working knowledge of Word Perfect 5.1, Word Perfect for Windows, Microsoft Works, Microsoft Windows 3.1 and Windows '95. I have some knowledge of Paradox, and some BASIC programming skills. I have also learned Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Word for Windows, Microsoft Project, COBOL, Fox Base, DBASE III, Eiffel and some C at University. I also know X-Window, ftp, telnet, some shell scripting, some CGI and SQL. Some graphical manipulation programs I know are Corell Draw and Paint, Paint Shop Pro, for the PC and xv, Image Works, xpaint and The Gimp, for X-Window. I know how to use UNIX, PC and Macintosh computers.
Art: I enjoy drawing, sketching, and have painted the scenery for the sets of two musicals - one at Kilvington, and one at Beaumaris Baptist Church. I also put together plastic models of Japanese anime characters.
Reading: I read a variety of subjects, including Egyptology, archæology, science fiction, the supernatural, and drama/romance novels.
Writing: I write for Themestream.Com and have been published on various free ezines including http://www.touregypt.net/
Youth Group: Member of the Beaumaris Baptist 18+ Group.
Other: I enjoy learning Japanese at University, and I have a number of Japanese pen pals. I have some knowledge of French, having spent five years learning it at high school. Member of WWWA Japanese anime club, Melbourne Anime Society, Theatre Club and of Students for Christ. I assisted in the running of a BBS. I enjoy using the Internet system to contact people from all over the world, and I design my own web pages and graphics for the pages.
