Have any of you Aussies out there turned on a movie or a show on Channel 7, intending to sit back and relax and watch?
I have... but when I did, I found myself suddenly distracted and annoyed by this STUPID 'transparent' (but NOT transparent enough!) - also known as a water mark - logo down in the bottom right hand corner of EVERY, SINGLE movie or tv show they put to air! (But not on the adverts, funnily enough.)
Argh! I can't stand watching movies or tv shows on that channel any more - I just get too distracted to pay attention to the show. And that makes me annoyed. So watching Channel 7 these days it just a painful experience.
Anyone else feel this way?
If you do, you can, like me, do a number of things - and maybe when enough of us let our displeasure be known, that logo might disappear and we can go back to enjoying movies and tv programs on that channel!
a) Write and ask the people at Seven to forward your letter of complain on to management.
b) Ring Channel 7 on (03) 9697-7777 and tell them what you think (nicely, please - nastiness doesn't get you anywhere!)
c) Write/e-mail/phone the people who place their adverts on Channel 7 (such as Toyota, Officeworks) and tell them that the Channel 7 logo is driving viewers away, hence less people will see their adverts, and so they will get less sales - maybe hint to them to tell Channel 7 to get rid of the logo.
d) Boycott Channel 7!! Get all your friends and their friends and their friend's friends to never watch Channel 7 until that stupid logo goes for good!
e) And, well, THANK the other channels for NOT having that stupid logo. Thank Channel 9, Channel 10, SBS and ABC! This should disuade them from going the way of Channel 7... we don't want to see this on the OTHER channels, do we?
Let everyone know that we won't put up with that stupid Channel 7 logo any more!! Together we CAN get rid of it!
Check out Say No To Seven for another form to get rid of the Seven logo!
And look at what people in the UK have to put up with - Squash the TV Bugs! Poor them!
*snigger* Ah, dear... I'm sorry, but it seems to me that a 14 year old kid, on drugs, decided to e-mail me to tell me off about someone else's page - the http://www.geocities.com/saynotoseven/ page (and about some non-existant Yahoo Banner that I supposedly, according to him, have... and about some Country Road t-shirts that I don't own...)
If you want to read his e-mails to me - with its totally incorrect information - take a peek at the hypocritical messages he sent me!
(Yes - he's calling me a winger when I can just not watch Channel 7 ... when he winges to me out of the blue about someone else's page that he doesn't have to read! *snigger*)
Back to my main page, noframes navigation, or go here if you're missing the left-hand navigation frame!
