AllAdvantage - No More Earning Money?!

Gyah!!! I just got this in my e-mail:

NEW MEMBERS TO BE ENROLLED IN WOW SWEEPSTAKES
AllAdvantage is now focusing its rewards program on the WOW Sweepstakes. Starting December 1, new members will only be able to enter the WOW Sweepstakes and will not be able to enter the Alternative Rewards Program.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Effective December 1, if you're enrolled in the Sweepstakes, you will not be able to switch back to the Alternative Rewards (Pay-to-Surf) Program. Similarly, if you are enrolled in the Alternative Rewards Program and you choose to enter the Sweepstakes at some point in the future, you will not have the option to switch back to the Alternative Rewards Program.

Man, you people who wrote things about AllAdvantage losing it in my other AllAdvantage Article are right - they're taking away surfing for cash from December onwards!

So if you want to get actual cash for surfing with AllAdvantage, get in before December the 1st!!

If you're already in AllAdvantage, swap back to Alternative Rewards and make sure never to swap to WOW... otherwise you'll be stuck in the sweepstakes forever. *sigh*

I don't know why they're doing this, really...

...doesn't really explain anything.

Somehow, though, I disagree with their statement - "committed to being your valued and trusted Infomediary". I don't think a sweepstakes is 'value', nor do I think tracking your webpages is 'trusted', especially since they won't be paying you for doing that any more.

I guess by doing this as a sweep, they'll have less people to pay... but I'm going to do my best to keep in the pay-to-surf program, because I don't want to gamble with my online time!

(And I never made it into their A+ program, either... 15 out of 20 people joined under me. Oh, well... not much chance of that happening now!)

BTW, at AUD$0.20c an hour, with only 10 hours a month payable time... that means that I'll make AUD$2 a month. $24 a year. Guess what the payout amount is? $96!!! That'll take four years to make!!! These December rates SUCK! Four years?!
