Melbourne - Home, Sweet Home

Here's my entry to the Home, Sweet Home Challenge by Helle Salin Nielsen!

1. Where do you live (city, country)?

   Melbourne, Australia!

2. What is the weather like there right now?

   It could be described as cool and dark (it's night time), but I call it 'freezing cold' outside, because when I went out I didn't have a jacket on!

3. What is a typical spring/summer/autumn/winter like there?

   Melbourne's weather is anything but typical. It could be anything, really. Generally winter is cold (10ºC-15ºC or so) and cloudy, sometimes rainy. Autumn is often like Winter, but with an occasional nice, sunny day thrown in. Spring is like Winter, but more warm days than Autumn. Summer? Well, that could be anything from a heat wave to cold and rainy!!!

4. Where and when were you born?

   I was born in the Melbourne area, on June 12th, in the year of the Tiger (Wood) ... figure that out! ^_^

5. Have you lived anywhere else? - If yes, how did you like that?

   Nope, been here all my life.

6. Would you care to live anywhere else? - If yes, then where?

   Somewhere with stable, warm weather! Maui would be nice... maybe San Diego ... The tropical parts of Queensland, maybe an island on the Whitsunday Islands...

7. How do you say "Goodmorning", "Hello", "My name is ... " and "How do you do?" in your language, if it is not English? If it is English - are there any local phrases you would use instead of these?

   "'Morning", "Hi", and "I'm ..." Can't think of anything other than that, really. No-one that I know speaks in a stereotypical Australian way (eg. no-one says "g'day"!)

8. What religion - if any - do you follow?

   I'm a Christian. A Baptist, actually...

9. What do you do on a day off?

   Umm... depends what my friends are doing! It could be nothing (stay at home, watch tv or go online), it could be going to a RPG convention... maybe go see a movie or go shopping. Whatever! ^_^
