An Open Letter to ThemeStream
"10c per hit for the life of the article"?
Can you tell the people who are doing this that they couldn't keep a promise even if they held in a bucket.
Oh, 1/2 a day's warning is not good enough.
Why don't you just explain to people what they have to do to keep ThemeStream going (eg. 'look at this advert to support ThemeStream authors'), instead of just cutting our money.
The bottom line is that I do want ThemeStream to survive, and not do an AllAdvantage... but this was bad form. VERY bad form.
Care for us, the readers and writers of ThemeStream, don't just care for yourself!
Where is the incentive to bring outsiders in to ThemeStream?
The American-only competition (win a digital camcorder) is not an incentive!
If you do not protect your authors, if you do not give us incentives to bring you new readers, you'll end up losing us..... and them. In so doing, without writers or new readers, you won't end up existing any more. It's in your best interest to keep your promises and to do what you can for your authors. They are your life's blood.
BTW, are there any bonuses offered to those popular authors who reach the cap, or do they just languish and 'die' for writing a great article?
You've just taken so much away from us - give us something back, something to make these changes worth while! Please. You'll be saving yourself, too.
PS - read my article on your latest stunt - Themestream = Thiefstream?! Give us the money you owe us!

PS - One favour I do ask, please e-mail your comments about the articles to kunoichi@thekeep.org because it's your comments that keep me writing! Oh, and can you check out my other articles?
I've added a new search function to make it easier for you to find information in my articles!
