Every once in a while, I get bitten by the fanfic bug. It started in high school, when my friend Philip Moyer talked me into helping him out with a small project he wanted to work on. This project has since turned into the Serendipity series.

Since then, I have dabbled here and there, until I came across two drabble communities on LiveJournal: sn100 (for Sports Night drabbles) and tww100 (for The West Wing drabbles). I kind of got hooked, and here's the result. (A "drabble," for those of you not hooked up with fanfic terminology, is a piece of fan fiction that is supposed to be exactly 100 words.)

Meanwhile, I've also been getting more involved in writing fanfics as part of the Tekkoshocon community. Currently, I only have one fanfic series, entitled "The Paragon of Animals." It features several of the members of Tekkoshocon Staff (myself included, although I'm trying not to make myself into a "Gary Stu") along with the powers featured in the NBC TV series "Heroes".
