South Wall
You glance at the south wall, entranced by the gleam you see from the
various weapons you behold. Swords of every type line this wall: broadswords,
longswords, and sabres abound. Searching through these relics, you come across
a black-bladed katana shining in the light of the setting sun. You reach out
to touch it, but are interrupted by the sound of someone clearing his throat.
Turning around, you see the Paladin himself: he stands about 5'11", looking to
be about 190 of the King's Pounds, long brown hair tied in a ponytail, brown
eyes halfway between twinkling and glaring, and spectacles just catching the
slightest glint of sunlight.
"That is not for sale," he says in a baritone voice you didn't expect
from someone of his build. Still, the commanding tone in his voice and stature
cause you to hesitate. Then, taking one last longing look at the sword and
noting the sign under it that names it the "Hand of Darkness," you turn your
attention once again to the whole of the room.
