The last day of Subrealicon started with me waking up before everyone else (as usual) and making that morning's bunches of coffee. I know I've done this before, so I'll go ahead and say it again: JB's Mom is the best mom in the entire world for being thoughtful enough to send JB with a slab of Mountain Dew, a slab of Danishes and a slab of muffins. Everyone should pay homage to JB's Mom, so we'll pause for a moment of appreciation for a truly wonderful and courageous mom. <pause> Okay, I feel better now.
Everyone trickled awake as usual, Dande feeling a bit under the weather (we'd discover the next day that she came down with a full-fledged illness; again, JB and Ashlan's fault). Ashlan had a Mother's Day thing to do, so she wasn't there as we first shouted "Happy Mother's Day" over the phone to Chandri's Mom and Hutch's Mom's answering machine. Kielle also had a Mother's Day thing to do and her sister picked her up, leaving me to herd the crowd to Mile High Comics, the official comic book store of Subrealicon. Everyone fell in love with the place, Staff and Chandri declaring that they wanted to live there. Much thanks again go to Daniel Martinez and two of his staffers, Dawnielle and Orion, for taking such good care of us. We're coming back in August for MiniCon 3, guys, so get ready!
Sometime while we were at Mile High, JB had to take the Canadians back to the bus station, so we said our farewells and I gave her directions to Palace Park. Dande took off, too, because she had a six hour drive home, so me, Hutch, Staff, and David headed back to Kielle's. We got Kielle, then waited for Laersyn to show up. Once the group was complete, we headed off for Palace Park (Hutch and Staff were in my car). Once the group finally convened, we decided to get Laser Tag passes first, as I had to leave around four for my own Mother's Day thing. Instead of having two teams like we did last time, it was a free-for-all. Friends against friends! Boys against girls! Cats and dog, living together...! (whoops, fell into a "Ghostbusters" rant). I even recall JB hiding behind a convenient panel and picking people off like a sniper. Once I'd sufficiently gotten my breath back, we adjourned to the gaming room where after a few rounds of "Gauntlet Legends" I had to leave. I made my farewells, feeling depressed all the way home. Oh well, there's always next year!

And now for the pictures!
