Actually, Mark, you *have* been fired.  Didn't they tell you?  
You're being replaced by my daughter Lilith, in an unprecedented 
outsourcing of work that the company are calling "Unfilled Nappies." 
All of the current X-writers have been fired, including myself, to be 
replaced by someone "who also screams constantly, wets themselves 
frequently, and jabbers unintelligible gibberish to the exclusion of 
all else -- but charges far less per page than the current people."  
She'll be starting out on EXCALIBUR and X-MEN, "where the above-mentioned 
qualities will take longest to be noticed by the readership."

God, I'm bored.
