Corrine of Amber OOCly can effectly be assumed that if he's watching something involved with TAMD or this, or participating, that he's Logging. Juri of Avalon says, "Ahh, good. I can bum logs off you, then, and not have to go through mine and cut out stuff from all my other puppets. :)" Corrine of Amber OOCly snrks. Corrine of Amber OOCly says, "pick up where we left off?" Rose asks, "Ready to Rumble?" Corrine of Amber OOCly is ready, willing, and able. Juri of Avalon says, "Yup." Rose asks, "OOC Anything else you wanted to ask them about before getting some sleep?" Corrine of Amber OOCly says, "Unless they wanted to pick Corrine's Brain to figure out what -she- might have to do with all this, not particulaly. She's still at the digest-and-collate state." Juri of Avalon says, "OOC: Not really. Juri, no great plotter by nature, is basically doing wait-and-see ATM." Corrine of Amber OOCly says, "Corrine effectlyively has one High Priority goal -- get back home before things to to hoek. But that can be deferred if nothing immediate presents itself, and she doesn't cop out on assumed duties." Corrine of Amber OOCly says, "(ie, if she commits to something, she'll see it through. But anyway. Please, continue. ^_^ )" ============================ ============================ That night, you both sleep fairly soundly, then wake feeling refreshed and dry. Or at least dry. Rose is already up making stew for breakfast. Corrine of Amber wakes at what her body tells her should be sunrise. Dammit, she doesn't care if she's in another universe, she -will- see a proper sunrise again! Rose says, "Good morning. I hope you don't mind rabbit stew." Juri of Avalon pulls out her curling iron, heats it over the fire, and begins determinedly putting her hair back into its usual style. Corrine of Amber hums a few bars of Carrot Stew. "...Rabbit Stew, don't mind if I do..." She smiles. Juri of Avalon says, "As long as it wasn't a cute rabbit." Corrine of Amber glances at Juri. She looks like she's about to say something, then remembers something, and then decides to shelve it. Rose says, "Rabbits are rarely very cute." Corrine of Amber . o O ("Big Sharp Pointy Teeth!" ... this is my brain on too much rainfall and free-associating with Monty Python.) Rose serves you breakfast; Ishmael seems to still be asleep. Juri of Avalon eats one-handed while continuing to deftly use her curling iron. Corrine of Amber eats with both hands and utensils, thanking Rose. Once you eat breakfast, Rose goes and wakes up Ishmael by shouting in his ear, "Otho's here to see you!" Ishmael vaults up into a tree and draws a sword, then looks embarrassed. He then comes down and has some stew, quickly resuming his usual look of 'I know more than you do' Corrine of Amber looks up at Ishmael's reaction, and fails to hide a bemused chuckle. Juri of Avalon just finishes curling her hair and puts the iron away. And then you're on your way again, riding through the Vale of Garnath. Some people wave to you, others run and hide, and a fair number ignore you as you ride through increasingly dense farms towards Amber City. Corrine of Amber ride ride rides along, noting similarities and differences, tallying them up in her mind. Rose babbles on, pointing various things out as you ride, while Ishmael remains alert. Juri of Avalon rides in silence. As you circle the city to head for the road up Kolvir, a woman rides towards you on a pale horse. She is wearing a white labcoat over turquoise and light blue riding clothes. She is short with close cropped red hair and, at first, from a distance, she looks like Fiona to Juri, although as she draws closer you can see she isn't Fiona. There's a definite resemblence, however. She says, "Hello there!" Rose says, "Hi, Rhianna." Corrine of Amber raises her eyebrows, and then shrugs. Hey, some people ride in labcoats all the time ... just think of Wakaba. She then mmms, reminded of Wakaba. She nods to the newcomer as she approaches Ishmael nods in greeting. Juri of Avalon nods too. Rhianna says, "Uncle Gerard spotted Fido briefly; he's heading away from Amber towards Chaos. But he sank uncle Gerard's ship, so he had to trump back to Amber and lost him." Ishmael says, "Not towards Ember?" Rhianna scratches her head. "Not unless there's a sea approach to it." Ishmael looks relieved. Corrine of Amber dryly comments, "Not likely...." Rose asks, "And Rebme?" Rhianna says, "Still destroyed." Ishmael says, "No doubt on their way to whatever Chaosian house aided their escape." Rose says, "Oh, Rhianna, this is Corrine of Amber and Juri of Avalon. They're from somewhere that isn't here." Corrine of Amber smiles slightly. "Greetings, Rhianna." Rhianna raises an eyebrow. "This isn't going to be like the magic cow is it?" Juri of Avalon says, "Nice to meet you. I'm from the Pattern Corwin drew, but not your Corwin." Ishmael says, "No magic cow." Juri of Avalon snickers. Rhianna pauses and studies you, then her eyes widen slightly. "Pattern yet not Pattern. Fascinating." Rose blinks. Corrine of Amber says, "I'm from an alternate Amber similar in structure to this one, but not the same people in it.... eh?" Corrine of Amber blinks. Rhianna says, "Just studying your Pattern imprint. It's quite easy to tell the difference between a flawed pattern and the real one, but yours seem to both be quite real, but not the same as ours." Corrine of Amber relaxes a bit. "Just as long as I'm not a broken version of myself, I'm happy." She smiles slightly. Rhianna smiles. "Mother will no doubt run off again trying to draw her own pattern after seeing you." Corrine of Amber asks, "Oh dear?" Ishmael laughs. Juri of Avalon says, "How interesting. The version of your mother from my universe tried to destroy our Pattern." Rhianna blinks. "Why?" Juri of Avalon says, "Oh, she thought it was a threat to the stability of the universal order or something. I didn't really get many of the details." Rhianna says, "Ahh, yes, the question of bipolarity versus tripolarity. Can multiple poles of order exist without themselves creating chaos. I believe my mother concluded that it wasn "It wasn't any more of a threat than Rebma or Tir'na-nog." Juri of Avalon says, "Well, our version didn't. Though she stopped once Brand escaped the Abyss." Together, you all start riding up the steep winding road which leads up to the castle. Corrine of Amber smiles up at the road that leads to the castle, and then mmms, listening more to the information again as they ride. Rhianna frowns. "Your Brand escaped?" "Yes," Juri says stiffly. "I was manipulated into releasing him by his son. Shortly after that, I killed him--Brand, that is, not the son. He got away. Rose nods. "We had to fight Brand's son, Rinaldo, to keep him from releasing Brand from the Abyss with his grandmother's help." Ishmael says, "And the help of his mother, Jasra." You page, "Can I trigger ont hat, given Kashfa in TAMD and the recent event/coup?" to Akemi. Akemi pages, "Yes." to you. Corrine of Amber -blinks- at that. Juri of Avalon says, "This was his son from Corwin's Pattern-universe, Tomas. Different man, I think, than your Rinaldo, since I know Brand had another son on the Amber side of my universe." Corrine of Amber says, "Rinaldo and Jasra? But Rinaldo's King of Kashfa back in my universe... he's just recently staged a coup against his mother... but I know of no 'Brand' there...." Corrine of Amber shakes her head, frustrated. Rhianna asks, "How did Brand get into Corwin's Pattern-Universe?" Juri of Avalon says, "Jasra... that must have been the woman in white at the Fount. I wonder if she lived or not..." Rhianna says, "To have a son, that is." Juri of Avalon frowns at that question. "That, I don't know. He demonstrated some ability to reach out and implant the Abyss into someone's mind, but..." Juri of Avalon says, "Tomas certainly looked like him, and... like father, like son. A mystery, I suppose." Rhianna nods. "Because he would have been in the Abyss almost immediately after Corwin's Pattern was made, right?" Juri of Avalon shrugs, looking uncomfortable. "Tomas claimed to be Brand's kin. I had ample evidence to believe it so. I did not really think about the physics of it." Rhianna scratches her head but does not press the matter. Corrine of Amber keeps quiet as well. You ride on up the mountain to the castle, and through the gates. A stableboy takes your horses to the stables and Ishmael takes you into the castle to a waiting room, then Rhianna sends a servant to inform the king of your arrival. It is not the king, however, who you see first, but rather a perky red-head dressed in a nice green dress who bears a strong resemblence to Rhianna. Rhianna says, "Hello, mother." Corrine of Amber smiles at the stableboy, and her mind continues the mental collation as they head through the familiar-yet-different castle, and then seats herself in the waiting room. She stands and bows to the redhead as she enters. Fiona pats Rhianna on the head. "Hello, daughter." She looks Juri and Corrine up and down. "Fascinating." Juri of Avalon says, "Hello, Princess Fiona." Corrine of Amber says, "Hello, Princess Fiona." She quirks a smile. Fiona says, "Well, you were right, Rhianna. An interesting genetic resemblance as well." She turns to Ishmael. "Hello, Lord Ishmael. Hello, Princess Rose." She turns back to the two of you. "Greetings, Princess of Avalon and Princess of another Amber." Corrine of Amber chuckles a bit, and bows again. "Princess Corrine of 'another Amber'. A pleasure to meet you." Juri of Avalon says, "Juri of Avalon." Fiona says, "I understand you were lead here by the Questing Beast?" Corrine of Amber nods. "The Questing Beast led Juri into the Forest Arden of my Amber, at which point it led us both along to yours." Juri of Avalon nods. "We encountered the Chihuaha of Chaos and Prince Julian before falling in with Ishmael and Rose." Juri of Avalon says, "Apparently, you're having a situation involving giant Logrus squids and Finndos or something. I don't know. I assume the Pattern--Patterns, whatever--brought me here for a reason. Maybe to help you out." She nods and looks thoughtful. "Does either of you have an equivalent in each other's universes?" Juri of Avalon shrugs. "To be perfectly honest, I had numerous concerns of my own to deal with in my own universe and am not entirely pleased by this, but I seem, as usual, to have little ability to determine my own destiny." Corrine of Amber says, "Apparently, I resemble her younger sister in her universe.... and she resembles my older sister in mine." Corrine of Amber says, "Though I beleive our respective histories are wildly different." Corrine of Amber hehs a little bit at Juri's statement, and nods in agreement. Juri of Avalon nods vaguely, looking distant. "Corrine is a double in appearance to my sister Darako, albeit very different in personality." Fiona purses her lips and looks thoughtful. "And neither of you have an equivalent in our Amber. There is likely some reason this becomes important, though I can not imagine why." She looks you up and down again. "Can you access your Pattern abilities within our universe?" Juri of Avalon says, "We don't seem to be able to." Corrine of Amber says, "We've both tried upon our appearance in Arden, but then again, we could just have been too close to your Pattern to have effect. I would think we would have noticed, though. Our trumps don't work as well." Corrine of Amber frowns at this latter statement, and looks ruefully down at her left-hand bracelet. Juri of Avalon says, "At least, I cannot Shadow-walk. I'm uncertain if I'd be able to access the protective powers of my Pattern by bringing it to mind." Corrine of Amber says, "Nor I." Corrine of Amber says, "Then again, I don't think we've tried to test it." Fiona nods. "Perhaps Bleys' theory will prove correct after all." She looks thoughtful. "Would you like some wine?" Corrine of Amber smiles a bit. "It would be appreciated, thank you. It's been a long, strange few days." Juri of Avalon nods. "Yes, thank you." Fiona calls a servant and sends her to bring some wine. Juri of Avalon exclaims, "OOC: And a PIE!" Rose says, "OOc And a sandwich for meredith." The servant soon returns with several bottles of wine and glasses. Rhianna pours everyone a glass of wine. Corrine of Amber smiles at Rhianna, thanks her, sniffs the wine, and then sips. OOC Juri drinks herself into a stupor, then hits on Corrine and anything else female that comes into range. Juri of Avalon calmly drinks the wine. Fiona takes her glass, sips it, then says, "My brother Bleys has long theorized there could be multiple universes with 'true' Patterns because the Jewel of Judgement does not contain a single two-dimensional pattern, but actually a three dimensional pattern of which any given Pattern is merely a two-dimensional slice, you see." The wine is quite excellent. Not the best you've ever had, but you can see Fiona has good taste in wine. Corrine of Amber nods a bit, sitting as she listens to Teacher Fiona. You page, "Did the Fire DJoJ have a similair 3-D pattern inside it?" to Akemi. You page, "(for Attuning, Repairing, Drawing, etc...)" to Akemi. Akemi pages, "Yep." to you. Fiona continues, "If this is the case, he theorized, our own Primal Pattern is but a shadow of some sort of Perfect Pattern which actually is the same as the the pattern within the Jewel of Judgement. Thus, there could be many different Ambers reflected from it, each of roughly the same amount of reality." Corrine of Amber's eyebrows go up at this. "The Primal Pattern?" Corrine of Amber looks like she's in the digest-and-process mode again. Juri of Avalon frowns, and hesitantly leaps feet-first into metaphysics. "So, when a new Pattern is drawn, as Corwin did, does the potential universe become actualized? Or something like that?" Juri of Avalon says, "Since, as you say, each Pattern is only a 2-D slice of a 3-D Pattern already existing, thus containing all possible Patterns, umm..." You page, "I figure that Corrine never knew about the Primal Pattern in TAMD... but given all this new info, she's capable of synthesizing a logical hypothesis that there'd be one for TAMD's cosm. (if that makes sense and is okay for you...)" to Akemi. Akemi pages, "That's fine. She may or may not be right :)" to you. You page, "[Corrine blllls John.]" to Akemi. Fiona nods to Juri. "Exactly. Corwin's is complicated by the fact that he drew it inside another Pattern's area of influence, instead of in a place where no Pattern existed, as Dworkin did." Juri of Avalon says, "I think Avalon has something like this Jewel of Judgement. As, undoubtedly, does my universe's Amber, and Corrine's Amber..." Juri of Avalon says, "Would each of those be only reflections of a True Jewel, or something? Or perhaps the Jewel exists, somehow simultaneously, in every actualized universe..." Juri of Avalon is beginning to babble a little, clearly over her head but caught up in the rush of ideas. Corrine of Amber says, "I... would suppose that the act of drawing... or repairing... with the Jewel of Judgement would cause an actualization of the shaping of said universe when its Patterns were drawn...." Corrine of Amber says, "Oh, we've got a Jewel of Judgement yes." She quirks a smile. "As well as near-perfect shadows of the same, tuned to the elements." Fiona says, "The Jewel itself casts shadows of itself, so it would not surprise me if it was itself a shadow of the Perfect Jewel." Fiona says, "Corwin has yet to tell me if his universe has its own Jewel of Judgement." Juri of Avalon says, "Well, I _think_ my Avalon does... we've got the Elemental Eyes, and Horatio mentioned something to me once..." Fiona nods. Fiona has another glass of wine. Corrine of Amber says, "And we have the Demi-Jewels of Judgement, as well as our primary Jewel." Rose says, "I suppose there would have to be multiple Logruses reflecting a primal Logrus, then, as well." Corrine of Amber says, "So, for what it's worth, it fits the theory you've put forth so far..." Ishmael says, "The Logrus is ever changing. It couldn't be a reflection of something, I don't think. Although there must be multiple Courts of Chaos, as I know we only have access to this Amber and Corwin's universe." Rose says, "Actually, we could try asking Dworkin about all this. He might know." Fiona wrinkles her nose. "If we understood his answer." Juri of Avalon nods. "My Avalon has its own version of the Courts. Many of the equivalents of Corrine's brothers and sisters are Lord and Ladies there." Juri of Avalon asks, "Dworkin?" Corrine of Amber asks, "Dworkin?" Corrine of Amber says, "Oh, wait, you were saying that Dworkin was King Oberon's father, Ishmael..." Corrine of Amber says, "Which, I suppose would make him an analouge to my grandfather, Fuyutsuki, in my universe." Fiona blinks. "The Amberites of Corrine's universe are Chaosians in yours, Juri?" Rose says, "Oh, Dworkin is very nice." Corrine of Amber says, "Not exactly, Princess Fiona. At least in my understanding." Corrine of Amber says, "More a subset." Ishmael says, "If you like complete mental cases." Juri of Avalon says, "Some of them." Juri of Avalon says, "It seems confined to those of them who attended Ohtori Academy with me." Corrine of Amber pops open her trump case (bigger than the ones most people use), and idly fans out the set for the Amberite royal family in her homeland. Juri of Avalon says, "Tomas of Pyre, and Mikel and Kozuen of Hendrake. That is, Touga, Miki and Kozue, in Corrine's universe." Fiona moves over to look at them, repeatedly pursing her lips and looking thoughtful. Juri of Avalon says, "Nanami is there as well, although I understand she's not originally from the Courts." Juri of Avalon says, "Oh, and Corrine's younger sister Utena is the daughter of my universe's version of your sister Dierdre. It's all very complicated. I'm trying not to think about it too much." Corrine of Amber spreads out her family trumps on a nearby table. "In order of age and/or marital relations...." She points out the Royal Family spread, including herself and Juri, as the player's not about to go and type all those names -again-. It includes Fuyutsuki, Gendo, Anthy, and Yuriko's trump near to Tylor's. Juri of Avalon looks over the Trumps. "Oh, we've got Anthy, too. Sort of." Fiona looks at them thoughtfully. "Do they work? I mean, here in our universe." Corrine of Amber says, "this is my generation, Father's, and grandfather's, mind... I won't go into the youngsters, especially since I haven't had a chance to paint Trumps of the new ones yet." Corrine of Amber smiles sadly up at Fiona. "I tried, they didn't. And I've painted the majority of these in my deck." Corrine of Amber considers. "I suppose I could try one of my daughter's, though..." Fiona looks thoughtful. "Do you have a trump of yourself?" Corrine of Amber picks up a Gabrielle Trump of Misaki, and ... tries it! You page, "No go, I imagine? :)" to Akemi. Akemi pages, "You flop." to you. Juri of Avalon says, "I do." Juri of Avalon digs out a Trump of herself from the deck and hands it to Fiona. Fiona takes the trump and concentrates. Corrine of Amber sighs, and puts the trump of Misaki down. "Gabrielle's aren't working, either. And hm?" She waits for Fiona to do what she's doing. Juri of Avalon says, "The Trumps would seem to retain their power between universes. I suspect the range is simply too great." Fiona hands the trump card back to Juri. "As she said." Corrine of Amber blinks at this, and fishes out one of her spare trumps of herself. "So you two were able to make contact, though admittedly in the same room?" Fiona says, "Yes." Corrine of Amber considers this. "Hmmmmmmm." Fiona says, "Perhaps Trump does not work in whatever sort of space exists between universes." Fiona says, "Or there may be some sort of other unusual conditions." Corrine of Amber says, "I wonder... hrm. Princess Fiona, would you be ameinable to an experiment?" Fiona offers Corrine a trump of herself. "See if you can trump me." Fiona asks, "What sort of experiment, Princess Corrine?" You page, "Corrine wants to test her True Trump Memory, but... sure, they hey." to Akemi. Corrine of Amber says, "I've... been practicing with the Trumps for some time... the majority in this deck are by my own hand, not Grandfather's... I want to see if I can attempt a contact without said card, now that I've met you." She smiles slightly. "Though I'd need to go out into the hall to try, to confirm its veracity." Fiona looks slightly disturbed by this statement, but nods. "Go right ahead." Corrine of Amber nods, and gets up, and heads out of the room. She then tries to Trump Fiona, via True Trump Memory. Fiona becomes distracted looking. You page, "Be it working?" to Akemi. Akemi pages, "You get a contact with Fiona. "Interesting," she says." to you. You page, "[Corrine smiles at Fiona, somewhat sheepishly. "Indeed. Pull me through?" She offers her hand.]" to Akemi. Juri, having nothing better to do, drinks more wine. Fiona pulls Corrine out of the air. Corrine of Amber appears in a Trump's rainbow shimmer. She then bows low to Fiona. "Thank you, Princess Fiona." Juri of Avalon asks, "All right. So we're from, apparently, equal but different universes. How do we get back to them?" Fiona says, "That is a tricky question." Corrine of Amber then returns to her seat, and straightens up her Trumps before replacing them back into her case. She then sips and nods. Juri of Avalon says, "Corrine, I believe, was facing some kind of crisis. I'd offered her my help. Oh dear. I hate tricky questions." Fiona says, "We must assume that the Questing Beast likely possesses initiation into a higher level Pattern, and used it to lead you here." Corrine of Amber sighs, and nods. "We've got a Madman named Annadil who appears to be from Chaos leading insane versions of my family to try and kill/conquer/-whatever- my own, as well as inciting conflict among our Golden Circle. A very big and nasty mess." "I'm going to make a rug out of that damn thing," Juri mutters. Corrine of Amber chuckles a bit, and sips her own wine. Corrine of Amber asks, "Can I help skin it?" Fiona says, "Barring its return, I'd say our best bets would either be to find a way to extend the power of Trumps across the gap between universes, or possibly find some way to use the Logrus to send you home." Fiona says, "Should Ishmael be correct in the assertion that it exists in all universes, perhaps it can be somehow used to travel between universes." "Oh boy. The Logrus," Juri says, with the enthusiasm people usually reserve for particularly infectious diseases. Corrine of Amber purses her lips. "Yay." Ishmael says, "It could be that some threat is about to strike all three universes, and that is why they were brought here." Juri of Avalon sighs softly and clutches her forehead. Corrine of Amber says, "Given some of the parralels seen so far, it's not -implausable-... but also given the difficulty of transportation between... perhaps it's more information-gathering, presening new lines of thought that could be used later." Corrine of Amber mrfs a bit. Juri of Avalon says, "Tomas of Pyre once mentioned boosting the range of Trumps through the use of a spikard... then again, he lied about so many other things." Fiona nods. "Or possibly through use of the Jewel of Judgement as well." Corrine of Amber says, "That would be an interesting possiblity..." Juri of Avalon says, "I also have, in the body of my horse, a manifestation of my universe's Eye of Fire, created by cousin Horatio's Eye-based computer, Julian." Juri of Avalon says, "But I cannot seem to reach him, either." Corrine of Amber raises her eyebrows. Corrine of Amber says, "If your 'Eye of Fire' is like my Fire DemiJewel... which at this point I don't doubt...." Ishmael looks contemplative. "May I examine it, Princess Juri? I have some experience with the Demi Jewel of Fire of our universe and its use in devices." Juri of Avalon says, "He did demonstrate some ability to communicate across universes, entering into some kind of network with another computer-being called 'Ghostwheel' from my universe's Amber..." Juri of Avalon looks a bit suspicious of Ishmael on general principle, but nods. "I suppose." Corrine of Amber taps her ring, bracelet, Sword, and crossbow. "My 'Daughter', Gabrielle, is also technically a Construct, and these are four of her manifestations. But I haven't been able to access her through them either." Fiona says, "Ahh, yes, Ghostwheel. " Corrine of Amber says, "And she too is a synthesis between the Fire DemiJewel and the Fire Pattern. Though if she was capable of cross-universe communication... then again, she would not have had any NEED to do so before this point." Corrine of Amber is looking thoughtful again. Juri of Avalon says, "Julian is built upon a combination of the Eye of Fire and a Broken Pattern." Juri of Avalon says, "He's also apparently been swapping software and hardware with Ghostwheel, and with Brand's computer, Mikage." Corrine of Amber says, "True Pattern, here." She quirks a smile Juri of Avalon shrugs. "But the point is moot, as I can't reach him." Corrine of Amber says, "We don't have any other Constructs in our universe, though. At least as far as I know. Annadil appeared surprised to learn of her existance, so there just might not... and true. And I can't reach Gabrielle either." Ishmael says, "I may perhaps be able to build something capable of boosting trumps, as I have some experience in their construction and with Jewel-using constructs." Juri of Avalon asks, "You're welcome to examine the manifestation. But weren't we to see King Random?" Corrine of Amber says, "What sort of experience? And yes...." Ishmael looks contemplatively at Juri and Corrine. "Hmmm..." Fiona says, "He is currently in a conference with the Ambassador from Therin, attempting to convince the man we didn't steal their crown. I'm sure he'll send for you as soon as that is dealt with." Fiona glances over at Ishmael. You page, "Alan? Why is it, in totally seperate campaigns and universes, our two individual characters ended up having nearly the same access to various things? :)" to Kima. Kima pages, "Dunno. I only got it because of Horatio." to you. You page, "The actions of Players and GM's move in mysterious ways..." to Kima. Ishmael says, "I didn't steal the crown. Nor did I arrange to have it stolen. I didn't even joke about it!" Corrine of Amber ahs, and nods. "Perfectly understandable." Juri of Avalon shrugs. "Then shall we head down to the stables, where I can retrieve the Eye of Fire's manifestation?" Fiona nods. "Sounds like a good idea." Corrine of Amber nods. When they reach the stables, Juri turns her horse into a car, pops the hood, roots around for a little while, and then emerges with a Fire Jewel Manifestation. Corrine of Amber whistles, softly. Fiona looks at it carefully. Ishmael pulls out a monocle and studies it through the monocle, then digs in his pocket and pulls out something that looks rather like the Demi-Jewel of Fire/Elemental Eye of Fire. Juri of Avalon says, "I should keep it with me, actually, both the manifestation and the casing, since I can't find them again in Shadow around here." Juri of Avalon turns the car into a crossbow and hangs it at her belt. Corrine of Amber then quirks an eyebrow at Ishmael's suspiciously-lookalike Demi-Jewel. You page, "Hm, random thought. Why do I get the suspicious feeling that Fiona was wary of Corrine's experiment, since that was suspiciously close to what Brand could do? *wry look*" to Akemi. Ishmael hands the manifestation back to you, then pockets the gem. "Interesting application. Less risk of having the Jewel stolen." Corrine of Amber nods. Juri of Avalon fits the manifestation into the stock of the crossbow. Ishmael pauses and strokes his chin. "Another thought comes to mind, although it would be dangerous." Corrine of Amber asks, "Hm?" Rose says, "Going to blow up another shadow, Ishmael?" He shakes his head. "I will have to think on it." A servant sticks his head in. "I'm looking for..." He reads off a piece of paper, "Lady Corrine and Lady Juri?" Corrine of Amber says, "Not blowing up Shadows is good.... Yes? I'm Lady Corrine, and this is Lady Juri." She gestures to Juri. ============================ ============================ Ishmael falls asleep. Juri of Avalon says, "This would be a good time to break, since I need to sleep." Corrine of Amber OOCly says, "Okidoke." Fiona says, "OOC No problem." Akemi has left. Juri of Avalon asks, "Night; send me the log, please, Phil?"
