Jacqueline of Amber says, "keww" Jacqueline of Amber says, "since this is something shiz wants, he'll have to ask :)" Michelle ooc moves Gil-Galad to the 'Dead Family' part of the page... ===================== ===================== It's a hot summer day a few weeks after the crisis is over... Juri of Avalon says, "Are Juri and Co going to get a mention on the UNS page? :)" Juri of Avalon says, "Collectively, under 'Corrine's Harem from Another World'? :)" Corrine OOCly says, "...... *thwap*" Shizumaru looks for Ota. Shaft says, "OOCLy taptap o.O" Shaft says, "OOCLy or should I do something here o.O" Michelle says, "OOC Yep, Alan :)" You find Shaft being trapped by Nanami into helping move furniture. This doesn't seem to make him very happy. Shaft exclaims, "OOCly doh!" Shizumaru blinks, then shrugs and starts helping out. "Hello, Ota-niisan, Aunt Nanami." Corrine OOCly fully empheasizes with Shaft, having had to do the same for Nanami when she first returned to Amber from Shadow... Nanami smiles at you. "Good day, nephew." She turns to Shaft. "Don't worry, there's only eight more couches." Shaft grumbles something, it doesn't sound entirely polite. Shaft asks, "Yo, little bro, care to grab a sofa?" Shizumaru nods, and grabs one of the sofas. Shaft was just joking, but is astonished to see another sucker join the workforce. Shaft says, "some people is too nice....." Shizumaru uncomplainingly moves furniture around. "Well, Oniisan, the sooner this is finished, the sooner you will be free, and then I can ask something of you." He smiles at Shaft. Shaft blinks at the smile. Having been rattled by Gabby lately, this just disturbs him a little. Two hours pass, and finally everything is done. Nanami gives you both tea and cookies, and then leaves you to yourselves. Juri of Avalon asks, "OOC: Are they _evil_ tea and cookies?" Shizumaru sighs and relaxes. "Why was Aunt Nanami having all of that furniture moved, anyway?" Michelle says, "OOC No, that would be if Mike Loader had them move furniture :)" Shaft asks, "well, her office got soggy when they did that Miki rescue thing... you know, where I was stranded in a whirlpool? " Shizumaru nods, smiling wryly. "I remember that, yes." Shaft cracks his knuckles. "Remind me to look MIkage up sometime...." Shaft asks, "anyway, you wantin' to ask something?" Shizumaru nods, putting down his teacup. "Actually...I would like to challenge you to a Rose Duel. No stakes, just...to see which one of us is better. I never had the chance to spar with you since we first met." Shaft sips his tea. Oddly, you notice he's type to stick his pinkie finger out when sipping frmo a dainty teacup. Shizumaru OOCly laughs. Shaft raises an eyebrow. "You wanna challange me to a _rose_ duel? Maybe s'just my personal view, but that's usually reserved for grudges. But, if that's what you want, okay." Shaft exclaims, "Yo! Auntie N! We's gonna beat up on each other for a while, okay?!" Shizumaru blinks. "Really?" He scratches his head, thinking back. "I suppose it can be...I recall Aunt Kozue and Madoka-dono's duel. But Aunt Juri once challenged me to a friendly duel as well." He shrugs. Nanami says, "Beat each other to a bloody pulp all you like." "When you need me to sew your limbs back on, I'll be talking to Tsuwabuki-kun." Shaft asks, "OOCly we got a trump of the rose duel arena?" Shizumaru OOCly says, "We'd probably want to find Anthy first, actually." Shaft says, "OOCly oh, true, i'll do it" Shaft trumps Anthy Anthy takes the call. "Hello, Ota," she says, smiling. Shaft asks, "Hi Gramma, Shizumaru wants to fight me, can we get a rose duel thing set up?" She blinks, then nods. "I will meet you there." Shizumaru nods. "Shall we go, then, Oniisan?" Shaft says, "Lead the way, little bro." Shaft says, "never thought I'd end up usin' that phrase......" Shizumaru chuckles, and heads off toward the Arena. Shaft, of course, follows. You head off to the Arena, and climb the steps, listening to the funky music. Anthy awaits you with two roses, one pink and one red, which she pins to your shirts, then explains the usual rules, which you've heard many a time. Shaft trumps his weapons cache and gets out two ordinary blades. "Let's not use our good gear, eh? As burstin' into flames would be, well, bad." Shaft tosses a blade to Shizumaru Shizumaru chuckles and nods, catching the sword. "Of course. Thank you." He moves into a position across from Shaft, and bows to him. Shaft gives a salute with his sword, then shifts into a ready position. "Engarde." Shaft stays where he is, waiting to see what Shizumaru will do first Shizumaru moves into a defensive stance, and eyes Shaft, then starts to circle around slowly. Page me your plans so I can try and assess your chances :) Shaft moves forward, fumbling a bit and leaving himself open, but instead of exploiting it, Shizumaru moves into an odd position where he's almost entirely turned AWAY from Shaft as he avoids the thrusts. Shaft laughs. "Aaaah, my brother taunts me." He still smirks, but doesn't go for the kill. Beowulf OOCly says, "Security company is calling, have to close things down at the office and head home. Catch ya all later..." Shizumaru simply smiles, and starts stepping around, in seemingly random directions. Shaft says, "ah, the drunken blade technique....." Shaft half-lunges at Shizumaru, shouting 'Ha!" Shizumaru spins backwards, striking upwards at Shaft's rose, but Shaft dances out of Shizumaru's way, parrying the thrust with blinding speed, and following it up with a riposte which Shizumaru is forced to dance back from to avoid. Shaft exclaims, "woooo! you ain't bad!" Shizumaru smiles. "And you have some good moves yourself." Sana_Kurata falls asleep. Shizumaru says, "As Juri-san once said...mad skillz, I think it was." Shaft says, "hey, yeah? which juri? we got so many these days...." Shizumaru laughs. "The Juri from the other universe, not our Aunt." He sobers slightly at the mention of the missing Juri. Shaft says, "Hmmmmmmm....." He tilts his head, assessing Shizumaru. Shaft unleashes a flurry of blows, right as Shizumaru tries for a jump attack. He passes under Shizumaru, who lands behind him. He spins and falls back before the barrage of leaping attacks Shizumaru is unleashing. Shaft moves into a stance anticipating further jump attacks, but Shizumaru drops low and sweeps him. He rolls backwards, away from Shizumaru, before Shizumaru can take his rose. Shaft says, "nice, nice, not bad skillz y'self" Shaft says, "now..." Shizumaru chuckles. "This may take a while." Shizumaru prepares for a massive stroke, and then Shaft says, "Hey, not wanting to hurry you, cuz, but my ladies are eager for me to get home so they can get some hot loving, ya know." [spoofed by Akemi] Shizumaru nods. "If you ever need advice on how to please your women, Juri-san gave me a detailed list of techniques," he says. Completely deadpan. And then he strikes. You page, "Oh, That's LOW, Droo. >)" to Shizumaru. Shizumaru pages, "Well, hey. :)" to you. You page, "(and Corrine has the Abridged list! (Shizu just has the short list. :) ;)" to Shizumaru. In a page-pose to you, Shizumaru laughs. Shizumaru lunges at Shaft with a lightning gatotsu. Shaft side steps and kicks Shizumaru in the butt, helping him along his way. Shizumaru skids and pivots. [spoofed by Akemi] Shizumaru frowns, rubbing his rear. "Hmm." Shaft exclaims, "Oh ho! She has, has she? You ain't the young and innocent lad I thought you was!" Shaft says, "Though now you got two women'a yer own, I guess I shoudla known!" He winks. Shizumaru laughs nervously. "Well...I have only barely begun to look through them. Er...." He coughs. "Only one, really." Shaft goes crazy as Shizumaru laughs nervously. Shizumaru's rose flies off, while Shizumaru, trying to make a last minute save, ends up simply slicing Shaft's shirt open, missing the rose by about half an inch. Shizumaru OOCly says, "Oh, and I emailed my writeup of the Keep, John." Shizumaru OOCly says, "D'oh!" Michelle says, "OOC Cool." Shizumaru blinks, then sighs. "The victory goes to you, Oniisan," he says, with a bow. Shaft grins like a pervert and asks, "So, can I see the notes?" Corrine OOCly says, "Oooo, -close-. :)" The dueling music ends, and Anthy comes over, smiling. "Congratulations to you, Ota." Shizumaru chuckles. "Certainly." Shaft smiles and nods to Gramama. "Thanks, Gramma. HOpe we didn't take ya away from anything." Shizumaru hands the sword back to Shaft. "Thank you for lending me the sword." Shaft opens his trump and tosses the swords aaway, then puts his arm around Shizumaru and strolls off to the nearest exit. "SO, let's see them notes....." Shaft exclaims, "MO! Take photocopies!" Corrine OOCly says, "And so, Juri of Avalon's legacy spreaded...." Shizumaru starts to blush, now that he actually is really thinking about what's in them. Well, what he's seen of them so far. "Kafuin, er, if you could send me a copy of...those notes?" ============================= ============================= Shizumaru OOCly says, "Okay, that was amusing. :)" Shaft says, "OOCLy and we fade as trump-constructs swap notes :)" Shizumaru OOCly says, "At this point, John, what are Shaft's and Shizu's respective War numbers?" Michelle says, "Shiz--54. Shaft--63" Shizumaru OOCly bliiiinks. Corrine OOCly whistles. Shaft says, "wooo." Shizumaru OOCly says, "John, I know I put more than five points into Warfare over the course of the campaign." Shaft says, "And I added 10 points just in the last week of the campaign" Shaft says, "good thing I did :)" Shaft says, "no, wait, added 13 poitns in the last :)" Shaft says, "So if I didn,t shiz on top ^_^" Juri of Avalon says, "Wow, Juri-Av could probably take them both on at once. :)" Shizumaru OOCly says, "Oh well." Michelle says, "OOC You have a 32 point construct" Shaft says, "well, being from a 200 point game....." Michelle says, "OOC That ate up serious points." Shizumaru OOCly says, "Huh." Michelle says, "OOC You've also used the headband to the point where it's turned into a point item." Shizumaru OOCly says, "Ahhhhh. o.o" Juri of Avalon says, "150 point game, actually. Although she's gone through two more campaigns than Shaft has. :)" Shaft says, "draiiiiin" Shizumaru OOCly says, "Okay." Shaft says, "sadly, moriya and jacqueiline's sparring will be far morepathetic." Corrine patpats. Juri of Avalon asks, "Hey, since Juri-Av went through eighteen years between leaving TAMD and showing up frozen in stasis in Rake, is it cool if I find out what her final TAMD stats were?" Shaft says, "afk, grabbing dinner" Michelle says, "You have to get Mike's clearance, unfortunately :)" Michelle says, "OOC Okay, I'm ready to run the grand goodbye whenever y'all are." Juri of Avalon cries. "But Mike is idle and I want to know nowwwww... :)" Shizumaru says, "Still waiting for Brem." Gideon says, "I am here." Shizumaru says, "Oh, there you are."
