Potemkin falls asleep. 

Ramon says, "OOC Heh." 

Ramon says, "OOC Yeah, we can handle that, Rod." 

Ramon asks, "OOC You alive enough to run that with Travis or 
should I just cut to someone else, Rod?" 

Jacqueline says, "OOCLy let's go" 

Jacqui trumps Beowulf. 

Beowulf takes the call. 

Jacqueline says, "Ano.... Uncle Beowulf?"  She looks notably 
distressed and ashamed. 

Jacqueline says, "OOCly does Wulf know Shaft''s dead? O.o" 

Jacqueline asks, "OOC ICil, that is?" 

Kanna OOCly says, "I suspect you don't know. *wg*" 

Beowulf says, "OOC I believe so; he was notified on the trip 
to the temple, IIRC, and told the best thing he could do ATM 
was to press on." 

Beowulf says, "OOC On the trip to the dig, that is." 

Jacqueline says, "OOCly ah, cool. okay. onward" 

Beowulf says, "Hai, Jacqui?" He smiles reassuringly, and looks 
like he'd like to give her a pat on the shoulder. "I heard 
about your father... I'm so sorry." He gives her a sad but 
'We'll get through this' look. 

Jacqueline says, "I... thank you... but... ano..."  She bows. 
"I lost your gift to me.  I'm sorry, it was careless of me." 

Beowulf looks surprised. "You lost it?" He looks puzzled for a 
moment. "How?" 

Jacqueline says, "Ah...."  She looks a bit embarrased here.  
"I was in chaos when a chaos lord tricked me and took Fred and 
Justice away." 

Jacqueline says, "I got away but now he's got cousin morgan 
an'I gotta go back to chaos again to get her back."  She 
frowns.  "I don't like Chaos very much." 

Beowulf says, "Fred *and* Justice?" He frowns slightly, but 
not at her. "This is pretty serious." 

Beowulf asks, "They got Morgan, too? Good grief. What's been 
*happening* in Chaos?" 

Jacqueline winces.  "I'm sorry, I'll do my best to get Fred 
and father's sword back, I will." 

Jacqueline says, "and, um, Cousin Morgan." 

Jacqueline says, "Ah.......  Uncle Mo got sabatoged and 
started throwing everyone to chaos, but he's better now."  She 
says this with much nervousness. 

Beowulf tries to give Jacqui a hug through the connection. 
"I'm sure you'll do your best, Jacquie. If there's anything I 
can find out that'll help, I'll pass it along." 

Jacqueline says, "ano...." 

Beowulf says, "Oh." He blinks. "I... see." 

Beowulf asks, "Yes, Jacquie?" 

Jacqueline says, "I know you travel a lot... um... if you hear 
anything about Taylor, let me know?  He's... he helped them 
kill dad." 

Beowulf says, "Taylor... got it." 

Beowulf OOCly tries to remember exactly what he knows about 
Taylor IC. 

Jacqueline says, "OOCly if he wasn't briefed, sending a 
telepathic briefing of what I know of him." 

Beowulf asks, "OOC Can we assume Jacquie brings Bey up to 
speed on whatever he doesn't know about Taylor?" 

Beowulf OOCly nods. 

Ramon says, "OOC Yep." 

Beowulf frowns more deeply. "I do not like this Taylor. I will 
*definitely* try to find out what I can about him when I'm 
out. I knew a few folks from Chaos back when I was at 
Panopticon, and I'll see if I can contact them." 

Jacqueline says, "thank you, uncle." 

Beowulf asks, "Speaking of Chaos... what were you doing down 
there to begin with, that got Fred and Justice lost?" 

Beowulf asks, "Was anyone else hurt?" 

Jacqueline exclaims, "ara..... Uncle Mo sent me there...  but 
he's feeling better now, he is!" 

Beowulf patpats. "I'm sure he is, Jacquie. But what happened 
to you while you were there?" 

Jacqueline says, "Ah... um... not hurt, no... um...."  She 
looks at someone near her a bit nervously.  Someone that's out 
of Beowulf's field of view at the moment. 

Beowulf asks, "Eh? Something else happen to someone down 
there?" 

Jacqueline's nervous smile wavers a moment, then she sighs. 
"Ano.... something happened to Shinobu-chan......"  She pulls 
a long-haired amazonian swordswoman into the trump contact 
gently. "Ano... Shinobu-chan... this is Uncle Beowulf..." 

Shinobu Minor in her new garb waves hello.  "Hi, Beowulf!" 

Jacqueline looks terribly horribly embarrased and ashamed. 

Beowulf BLINKS. "Shinobu?" He blinks again. "My goodness... 
what happened?" 

Beowulf says, "You certainly seem to have grown up a bit." 

Jacqueline puts a hand over her face.  "Ara... you can 
explain, Shinobu-chan." 

Beowulf smiles and waits patiently. 

Jacqueline says, "OOCly metink jon lag O.o;" 

Ramon says, "OOC Struggling with FTP" 

Jacqueline says, "OOCly aiyaaah." 

Shinobu Minor says, "Jacqui blew up Uncle Morgy, flinging me 
into Chaos, where I got amnesia and lived with Sif and Thor 
for 40 years." 

Jacqueline cringes 

Jacqueline exclaims, "I didn't mean to!" 

She continues, "I had a lot of fun, but Anthy-sama ended up 
being held prisoner by House Alars, and we got captured trying 
to save her." 

She finishes with, "So Jacqui lost Justice and Fred there." 

Jacqueline says weakly, "But I did get us out of there." 

Beowulf says, "Sif and Thor... I see. Well, it doesn't appear 
to have hurt your development." He grins wryly. "I'd imagine 
some of the people who had tended to... look down on you... in 
your old status have changed their minds a bit." 

Beowulf asks, "What was growing up there like?" 

Beowulf says, "Anthy... held prisoner?" He shakes his head. 
"There's a lot I have to catch up to, it seems." 

Shinobu Minor says, "A lot of fighting and drinking and cute 
guys." 

Shinobu Minor says, "I drove papa's chariot into Tyr's long 
house once and got grounded for a month after I finishes 
rebuilding it." 

Shinobu Minor LLAAAAAAGGGGGGGG 

Jacqueline laughs nervously.  "I, aheheh, think they might 
ground me for life.... or imprison me in a no-magic shadow.  
But I havta go get cousin Morgan back first... I really don't 
like Chaos." 

Beowulf asks, "Did you make any friends down there, at least?" 

Akemi has disconnected. 

Beowulf says, "OOC Doh. <sigh>" 

Jacqueline says, "OOCly DOH" 

Jacqueline says, "OOCly i gotta drive home anyway, back in 
aboot 20-30" 

Jacqueline idles to drive home 

Moriya OOCly says, "Jacqui is a dead woman, Rod." 

Lian says, "Mornin'" 

Beowulf says, "OOC it's not *that* bad... :)" 

Gabrielle asks, "God, what's she DONE to Shinobu?" 

Jacqueline Idles 

Moriya OOCly says, "As Alan pointed out in the other room, 
Shinobu has probably had lots of sex with, quote, rough, lusty 
Norsemen." 

Gabrielle says, "Rod, if Jaqui still had anything worth 
taking, Gabby would be taking it to teach her a lesson." 

Finn says, "Or Rough lusty Valkyries.  Either way." 

Motoko says, "And now that I've realized it OOC, Motoko can 
realize it IC." 

Akemi has connected. 

Shinobu Minor exclaims, "OOC AAAAAA!!!!!" 

Gabrielle says, "Motoko is just jealous because she's still a 
giant virgin." 

Motoko says, "She'll probably just give one enormous full-body 
twitch, and then claim it was 'nothing' when Moriya asks her.  
:)" 

Moriya OOCly says, "Cute guys, she said. She's straight, it 
would appear." 

Moriya OOCly says, "Rod's driving home, John. He'll return 
soon." 

Kanna says, "Nothing wrong with Cute Guys." 

Beowulf OOCly nods.

Shinobu Minor says, "I must immolate myself." 

Beowulf asks, "Nani?" 

Kanna asks, "Hm?" 

Shinobu Minor exclaims, "No, no lag!  BAD LAG!!!!!"

Kanna OOCly says, "anyway.  bed now." 

Kanna OOCly waves. 

Beowulf OOCly says, "Later on, Phil; sleep well." 

Motoko says, "Night, Phil." 

Aerianne has disconnected.

Beowulf says, "Well, apparently Morgan is now in the hands of 
Chaos, and Jacquie and Shinobu Minor are off to rescue her. 
o.o" 

Lian says, "Oh, fun." 

Akemi has disconnected. 

Motoko says, "And Ramon got flung somewhere, and Keiko went to 
retrieve him, making her even more pissed at Jacqueline." 

Lian says, "The walking disaster area and the warrior hussy on 
a quest into Chaos. Everyone better prepare for a big Chaos-
Amber war." 

Moriya groans. 

Beowulf says, "Apparently it's her third or fourth time down 
there, and no war yet, so she must be doing *something* right. 
^_^" 

Lian says, "Fourth time, I think. And the more often she goes 
there, the higher the chance that she'll finally screw up." 

Lian says, "Burn Odin's beard, maybe. Or insult da king." 

Beowulf says, "Odin seemed to like her, so..." 

Jacqueline Unidles 

Rod has connected. 

Rod has disconnected. 

Jacqueline asks, "Okay, we ready to ru-..... oh, bugger, 
where's john?" 

Gabrielle says, "It would appear KU is having server 
problems." 

Jacqueline says, "Aiyaaaaaah." 

Beowulf says, "Lovely. -_-" 

Jacqueline says, "just when wulf was gonna get odin's 
prophecy...." 

Motoko says, "Atop that, Mike's computer seems to have 
exploded, possibly as an early warning sign of the network 
troubles." 

Gabrielle says, "Whenever something like that happens to me 
personally, I always feel like someone has cut off a limb." 

Motoko says, "As John didn't specify how it was being 
'difficult', but it might just have been that it refused to 
connect to the network." 

Motoko says, "I just go and do something else until my network 
comes back.  :)" 

Gabrielle says, "Yeah, so do I, but there's feeling in the 
back of my head like I've lost something the whole time." 

Jacqueline says, "thank god i'm home X.x" 

Jacqueline says, "i've been sneezing like a loon" 

Jacqueline says, "sore throat's gone, but now my sinuses are 
acting up" 

Gabrielle says, "It's frightening how John's game wrapped it's 
tentacles around everybody." 

Akemi has connected. 

Shinobu Minor exclaims, "AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" 

Jacqueline exclaims, "DOSH KOI!" 

Shinobu Minor throws himself on a stake. 

Shinobu Minor says, "Let's finish this conversation before I 
eat my own flesh." 

Jacqueline says, "OOCly GAAAAAME OOOON" 

Beowulf says, "OOC Good to see you back. :)" 

Jacqueline ohs.  "Uncle Beowulf, there is something I heard in 
Chaos that you might like, since you like prophecies and 
things like that...." 

Beowulf nods. 

Beowulf asks, "What did you hear?" 

Jacqueline says, "This, um, Odin, he wanted me to drink from a 
well that answered questions, and... ah.... how did it 
go....."  She tries to remember..... 

Beowulf asks, "Odin?" 

Jacqueline nods.  "Um, yes, the Chaos Lord was named Odin.  
Nice person for a Chaos Lord too." 

Beowulf asks, "Ah. He took good care of you, then?" 

Jacqueline scratches her head.  "Ano... Odin wanted to know 
how to prevent Ragnarok... an'the well told me he had to smash 
Melkior's fingers... or something like that." 

Beowulf asks, "Smash Melkior's fingers?" 

Jacqueline nods.  "Nine fingers, I think." 

Jacqueline scratches her head again.  "And there was something 
about a dragon's hoard..... dragon's treasure...." 

Beowulf says, "Nine fingers... sounds familiar, for some 
reason." 

Beowulf blinks. "Dragon's hoard? Hoard of the Dragon?" 

Jacqueline nods.  "I think so." 

Beowulf asks, "This could be important, Jacqui... what do you 
remember about that?" 

Jacqueline says, "ano.... look for it in the temple of death, 
in a flying world... or something like that." 

Jacqueline says, "and it needs three keys." 

Jacqueline looks at Beowulf curiously.  "Does that sound 
right?" 

Beowulf nods. "Thank you, Jacquie; that could help with things 
on this end." 

Beowulf says, "It matches up with a couple of things I've 
heard." 

Jacqueline smiles faintly.  "I'm glad I could help.... 
somebody." 

Beowulf smiles and patpats. 

Beowulf asks, "Do you remember anything more about Melkior?" 

Jacqueline says, "ano...... he has editions... um.... 
edions.... things we havta smash.  and wheels." 

Jacqueline says, "that's... that's all I can remember right 
now. I'll try to remember it better after we get cousin Morgan 
an'uncle ramon back...." 

Beowulf looks puzzled. "I remember hearing something about 
Melkior's hand sometime not too long ago, but not where." He 
shrugs. "Oh, well, maybe it'll come to me." 

Jacqueline frowns.  "Did I mention I havta go back to chaos?" 

Beowulf asks, "Back again?" 

Beowulf asks, "That's right, you said something about having 
to go get Morgan back from the gentleman you lost Fred and 
Justice to?" 

Jacqueline says, "ano....."  She starts counting on her 
fingers. "I went there once an'they made me walk the....."  
She pauses.  "Then I went there again after uncle mo went mad 
an'threw me out.  An'then I went there again to get Shinobu-
chan an' Gramma Anthy back..... now I gotta go back an'get 
Uncle Ramon, Cousin Morgan, Fred an'daddy's sword back." 

Jacqueline smiles weakly.  "Wish me luck." 

Beowulf says, "Good luck, Jacqui. I'm sure you'll do well in 
the end." 

Beowulf reaches through to give her another quick hug. 

Jacqueline says, "oh, and.... thanks for Fred..... I'll try'an 
get him back." 

Beowulf says, "I'm sure you'll have him back." 

Jacqueline returns the hug, then bows politely and closes the 
connection. 

Beowulf asks, "OOC and that's a wrap... gonna keep going with
