Jacqueline gives a small wave.  "Hi Mutsumi," she says quetly.

Beowulf looks at the Jewel, twirling on the chain. "It looks much...
safer, when it's not glowing red and firing beams that vaporize power
armor," he says thoughtfully.

Beowulf looks down at Mutsumi and smiles, giving her a half-hug back.

Motoko says, "It's very good advice."  Motoko colours a bit, then
manages to hide it.

Beowulf says, "Touga checked it out, with his Pattern abilities. A good,
thorough checkout."

Mutsumi comes over to Jacqui and hugs her.  "Are you a Woman in Black
now?"

Beowulf blinks, and does a double-take at Mutsumi. "Um... how did you 
know
that, Mutsumi?"

Motoko nods and holds out her hand.

Mutsumi says, "Umm..ahahahaha."

Beowulf's bag rustles a bit, as a gloved hand reaches out of it, grabs 
the
edge... and then with a "Hup!", it pulls itself out, with an attendant
Kanna, clad in a light-eating Black bodysuit, though not fully zipped so
they can see her usual clothes beneath.  A gold-basket-hilted saber is 
at
her hip, a long bundle on her back, a sheathed dagger on her other hip,
and travel pack besides.

Mutsumi says, "They say learning by experience is the best way to learn
things..."

Jacqueline returns the hug, though a bit half-heartedly.  "Um, just
trying to avoid... er..... mistakes of my youth at the moment."

Beowulf hands the Eye to Motoko.

Mutsumi says, "That tinkertoy didn't finally return from Shadow to
destroy you, did it?"

Kanna raises her eyebrows, but then smiles at familiar faces, stepping
back a bit.  "Hey there, folks... eh?"

Beowulf looks faintly harried as he tries to track three people at once,
then looks back at Mutsumi and covers his eyes. "By experience? Do I 
want
to know?"

Jacqueline says, "um, er, no.   It's.... another mistake."  She blushes
somewhat.  "I'd rather not say."

Motoko takes the Eye by the chain and slips it round her neck, tucking 
it
under her blouse.  "I suppose I'll attune to it after I have my bath.
Hello, Aunt Kanna.  Welcome to Chaos."

Mutsumi says to Beowulf, "I don't think you want to know."

Beowulf looks back at Mutsumi. "Um... right." He blinks.

Kanna smiles, and bows to Motoko. "Hello, Motoko.  It's been too long
since I've seen you last."

Jacqueline waves to Kanna.  "Family gathering, ne?"

Motoko bows back.  "Since shortly after Marches, I believe.  We've both
been busy.  How is your mother?"

Beowulf looks over at Kanna. "Wasn't Lian coming out?"

Jacqueline says to Mutsumi, "I hope the flowers were okay.  And that
Uncle Mo didn't deliver them in the middle of your bath or
something....."

Motoko comes over to stand by Moonshade and asks something quietly.

Kanna chuckles a bit, waves, and then crosses her arms in front of her
chest.  "Oh, mom's doing fine, last I checked.  Running the kingdom,
keeping an eye on things... Oh!  Right!  Lian says hi, but she boomed 
back
to Mechanus to take care of some things before checking in with 
Amber..."

Mutsumi says, "The flowers were very nice."  She smiles.  "Thanks for
sending them."

You page, "Well, We're in CHAOS right now, I sure as hell can't sweep

Jacqueline says, "it was the least I could do......"

Beowulf says, "Oh. Oh, well..." He smiles a bit ruefully. "I was going 
to
introduce her as the Master Paver of Leng."

Kanna laughs.  "I'm sure she'd be flattered."

Motoko frowns slightly at Moonshade's reply, then shakes her head.  "I'm
going to go relax in the bath for a little while," she declares.  Then 
she
looks rueful and rubs her forehead.  "I'm sorry.  It's been a long last
couple of days.  I'm glad you're all here.  Thank you so much for 
coming."

Kanna nods.  "Find what rest and relaxation when you can, Motoko.  'S no
problems."

Beowulf smiles back wryly. "You're welcome, Motoko. I know it must have
been stressful for you."

Yumi says, "Yes, a bath would be good."

Jacqueline says, "hey, wait, hot springs? count me in."

Motoko turns and bows to Beowulf.  "Uncle, thank you so very much for
getting Daffyl's Eye.  I--we can use this to make things right, 
finally."

Motoko smiles.  "You're welcome to come, Jacqui-chan."

Mutsumi says, "Hmm, we'd better get you and Kanna a room, Beowulf."

Jacqueline tugs Mutsumi's arms.  "You're coming too, ne?"

She says, "Unless you're planning to..."

Beowulf nods soberly. "I hope so. Goodness knows I've had a bad feeling
about this, ever since Morgan first contacted me with the news of the
battle with Alars."

Mutsumi says, "I'll be along in a little while.  I need to see about
getting them some rooms."

Kanna bows to Duchess Yumi as well.  "And Duchess Yumi... it's been too
long as well."  She chuckles softly, and waves to Jacqui and Motoko. 
"Hm? 
Room would be a good thing, thank you, Mutsumi."

Jacqueline says, "wah.  well, okay."

Moonshade says, "Hmm, me and Jacqui are gonna need rooms.  You go bathe,
and I'll see about getting us a room, Jacqui."

Jacqueline says, "thanks, sis."

Mutsumi takes Kanna and Beowulf's arms.  "Will you two be sharing, or
should I give you seperate rooms?" she asks.

Motoko says, "Mutsumi-chan, I'll see you in the bath.  You too,
Moonshade, I hope."

Beowulf nods to Mutsumi. "Thanks, Mutsumi-chan." He looks back and forth
between Mutsumi and Kanna. "You know... I've always thought of you as a
sister, and now I seem to have acquired another one in Kanna... does 
that
make the two of you sisters of sort, now?" He grins.

Moonshade says, "In  a little bit, Motoko."

Jacqueline follows after Motoko, though still occasionally looking
around warily.

Jacqueline says, "erm.... well....."  The blush returns again, though 
she
tries to shift it away.  "It's... er..... complicated."

Motoko sighs.  "Are you being stalked by a jealous lover or something?"
Yumi says, "Jacqueline committed a bit of an indiscretion."

Jacqueline twitches

Jacqueline nervously asks Motoko, "let's... aheheh..... talk about this
later, if we must?  Like, say, in less crowded places?"


Motoko says, "Here are the change rooms."

Yumi says, "Let's just go bathe.  Jacqueline, you are being ludicrously
paranoid.  She is not going to show up."

Jacqueline mumbles to herself something about not-her-fault.

Motoko begins stripping down, then looks up.  "Jacqui, this isn't the
Logrus you're worried about, is it?"

Kanna also taps Moonshade on the shoulder before getting dragged off in
seperate directions... unless they're all in the same wing.  She 
chuckles.
 "Sharing's fine, Mutsumi."

Mutsumi begins humming o/~Sisters are doing it for themselves o/~

Beowulf blinks, and tries to place the tune.

Motoko smiles vaguely and waves, then goes off towards the bath.  After
they turn a few corner turns, she glances at Jacqui.  "Jacqui-chan, what
are you afraid of?"

Kanna arches an eyebrow at Mutsumi's humming, and laughs softly, but not
at Mutsumi's humming.

Mutsumi hauls off Beowulf, Moonshade, and Kanna in search of rooms.
Mutsumi says, "We've been pairing people up because we've had some
trouble with attacks and assassins and termintes and such."

Kanna nods.  "Figured something of that nature."

Beowulf nods. "Field conditions, eh?" He looks around, a little sadly. 
"I
hate to see a nice House like this come to that." He sighs.

Kanna asks, "Hell, I doubt I'll be particularly desired around certain
parts of the Courts... how -have- things been down here, otherwise?"

Beowulf says, "Make sure there's room enough for Lily, too; she had to
make a few preparations, and she'll trump me when she's ready to head 
down
here."

Mutsumi says, "Well, we've had a lot of fun.  But we've also been
attacked by Serpent's Horn maniacs a lot.  And Lord Loewen blew up his 
own
house to get some of them."

Kanna says, "...."

Beowulf says, "...blew up his own house?" He looks shaken.

Mutsumi says, "Some Serpent's Horn, that is."

Kanna says, "I'd heard of Serpent's Horn, that's why I'm coming down
here in the -first- place, but....-damn-."

Kanna says, "Bey?  Have I ever told you how much I -hate- it when these
things escalate?"  She mutters, and rubs her eyes across the bridge of 
her
nose.

Motoko says, "Of course.  I can entirely understand your desire to talk
about indiscretions in places that aren't crowded."  She twitches
slightly.

Beowulf says, "Don't I know it," he says to Kanna. "I'd *like* to give
them some benefit of the doubt; I did with Alars, and it seems like it 
was
the right thing to do -- but with the record they've been piling up, I'm
not sure I can."

Kanna then looks up.  "I assume we'll have some sort of meeting for
planning, with Moriya and the rest?" She nods.  "This is going too far,
and there's too many odd loose ends, like 'False Ewoyn', that we need
settled."

Mutsumi says, "The Serpent's Horn tried to blow up all of House Tremere
and all its neighbors.  They're not nice at all."

Mutsumi says, "In the morning when everyone is fresh.  Right now, we're
all just zonked out.  It's been a full day of diplomacy at House 
Helgram."

Beowulf winces at 'blow up all of House...' and winces again at 'House
Tremere.'

Kanna -stares-.  "Oh shit.  Was this when Davros was captured?"

She finds a nice room with twin beds for Kanna and Beowulf.  "How's
this?"

Kanna looks.  "Works for me, Mutsumi."

Mutsumi nods.  "Yes.  It was a big mess, and Davros got grabbed while
everyone was fighting for their lives.  Lunch tried to kill us all."

Beowulf nods slowly. "Right. Need to make sure we're in sync with local
time," he says. "Looks fine, Mutsumi."

Mutsumi said, "While they built a bomb in the kitchen."

Beowulf says, "Lunch?" He blinks.

"The lunch at House Tremere came to life and attacked."

Kanna nods  "Time synching will take a little bit, but I can probably
catch a few naps to get in sunch."

Kanna says, "..."

Beowulf looks slightly boggled. "Oh... my."

Kanna says, "Oh Good Pyriconr."

Mutsumi says, "And don't eat Helgram desserts."

Kanna says, "I wasn't planning to get involved in any social affairs
down here if I don't have to."  She quirks a slight smile.  "Save
perhaps Gainax's."

Beowulf says, "I... see." He sighs. "Dang it, what *makes* people like
that? Even what Morgan did shouldn't be enough to make people crazy like
that."

Mutsumi says, "Well, Helgram and Nurgal offered us armies if we need
them."

Beowulf smiles slightly. "Good. I'm glad we're getting along with some 
of
the Houses here."

Beowulf looks a little apprehensive. "How are things with House Alars?"

Kanna hrmmms.  "Useful, though against Terrorist groups, I'm not sure if
they'll be much use save as a distraction."  She scractches her cheek.
"Though there's better minds on that than mind..."

Mutsumi says, "Beings of power are sometimes not very calm about such
things."

Kanna realizes that she is in the Courts.  This means that House Alars 
is
also here.

Mutsumi continues, "House Alars is doing better, although Lord Kunou did
get rather hacked up."

Kanna sighs.  "Ow." *pause* "Who?"

Mutsumi sits down on one of the beds.  "When the Serpent's Horn stole
Merehallow."

Mutsumi says, "Kenshin, a great warrior, hacked him up and took it."

Kanna winces.  "I'd just heard of the general attack, not the details,
from mom and Moriya."

Kanna goes and sits on the other bed.

Kanna says, "And the Kidnappings from Bey..." She nods towards that
luminary.

Beowulf sighs. "I... need to go talk to Lady Kodachi. I promised her to
return for tea, back when I returned her House's stolen artwork. And 
there
are some other things, too." He stares bleakly into space for a moment,
before sighing. "And it would be helpful to get a better description of
their tactics and fighting styles."

Beowulf says, "The Serpent's Horn's tactics, that is."

Mutsumi says, "Well, Moriya traded Werewindle to them to get Justice for
Jacqui.  But while they were there, the Serpent's Horn attacked.  Kunou
nearly died and Merehallow got taken.  A big mess."

Kanna quirks a slight smile.  "I think that's what the 'next morning' 
part
comes into play, Bey."

Beowulf winces.

Kanna then winces.

Beowulf smiles ruefully at Kanna. "Next morning, all right."

Mutsumi says, "They seem to have pretty good tactics, as while we've
beaten off their attacks, they've made off with something every time."

Beowulf says, "And *someone* more than once." He sighs. "I'm glad Thoric
managed to escape them."

Kanna steeples her fingers in front of her face.  "Not good, no.  And
they've been getting bolder, from what folks have told me."  She sighs.
"We'll have to be on guard, Bey, down here."

Beowulf nods in agreement with Kanna.

Mutsumi says, "I don't think they'll be crazy enough to attack here,
but...then again, with crazy people, you never know."

Kanna considers.  "Any general warnings while we're down here, Mutsumi? 
I
admit I'm not planning to stay down here -long-, and presumably Daffyl's
base is somewhere in shadow, but as it's my first time actually -being- 
in
the Courts..." She quirks a slight smile.

Kanna nods, somberly.  "Too true."

Kanna looks at Bey.  "Sleep in shifts tonight, bey.  Let's not take
chances."

Kanna says, "Should also help us get to synch."

Beowulf nods. "Right. I'm going to need to jump back up to Amber briefly
and pick up Thoric, though."

Mutsumi says, "Okay."

Moonshade pokes Mutsumi.  "Room."

Mutsumi says, "Oh yes, let me get you a room.  I'll be right back."

Kanna chuckles softly.  "You do that, and I'll follow these two?"

Beowulf nods. "Righto. Be back in a bit."

Mutsumi takes Kanna's arm.  "Alright!"

Kanna grins, and takes Mutsumi's arm in turn.

Beowulf grins. "Have fun, sis's."

Kanna waves.  "Don't worry, we will, bey." She grins.  "Lead on,
McMutsumi."

Mutsumi wanders up and down the hall, trying to find a not-taken room. 
As
she walks, she asks Kanna, "So how are you and Ruka-san doing?"

Kanna blushes at the mention of Ruka, but smiles.  "Oh, we're doing
fine, Mutsumi... we got a chance to hang out together after we got back
from the League, which was fun."  She then hrms, reminded.  "Oh and hey,
Moonshade?  How's it been going with you?"

Moonshade says, "Jacqui's been extra whacky lately, what with banishing
herself to other universes and whatnot, but I'm okay."

we go and talk with the BF's... but prolly better that way.  IF we did,
we'd probably be over each other within ten minutes of doing so." She

She pauses.  "Damn, we forgot to get Vash's gun back from her."

Kanna blinks.  "... uh?  Ohhhhhkay?" She blinks again.  She pauses. "She
-jumped universes-?  And oh man, that was a good gun...."

ruled Amber.  And had a ton of wives and Jacqui in that world was a

bad-ass.  She got sent here when Jacqui went there."

Moonshade says, "It was a big, big mess."

Moonshade says, "But it all came clean in the end, thankfully."

Kanna boggles at the thought of King Shaft of Amber.  "Ah.... huh.
I...." She opens her mouth, then closes it again.  She shakes her head.
"It definitely sounds eventful."  Kanna quirks a smile.  "But, anyway,
glad to hearing you're doing good, otherwise." She considers.  "After 
this
Serpent's Horn thing gets squared away, Moonshade, and if you're not
hyper-busy, would you be up to a quick jaunt down to Arden to meet the
elves and Fingolfin down there?  I remember mentionign it a while back
before the Leauge thing started, but then it slipped my mind. Shouldn't
take too long, anyway, and Arden is a cool place when it's not getting 
the
shit pounded out of it by hostile forces."

Moonshade says, "Sure, I'd love to.  Those Elves came from my homeworld,
originally, until..."  She sighs.  "They lost the war with Morgoth and
fled into Shadow with the Silmarils."

Kanna nods, somber.  "I heard the story from them, yeah... and they
continue to flourish in Arden proper.  The main settelment, Nimost, is
centered around what they believe to be a seedling of the Two Trees." 
She
says that with the respect such trees deserve.

Kanna chuckles.  "Well, with the power of the Pattern, you'd probably

-something-... Would be worth a shot, I suppose.  But hey.  The Sils 
have
all been tracked down as well... Lian found the third a while back."

Mutsumi says, "Just about everything exists somwhere in shadow."

Kanna nods, sagely, at Mutsumi's words.

Moonshade says, "Well, if I somehow find time between keeping Jacqui
from being killed, I will have to check that out."

Kanna says, "Keeping Jacqui from getting Killed is a Good Thing in my
opinion."

"It's a full time job," Moonshade says.

Mutsumi says, "Don't let her...oh wait, I guess it's safe for her to
have Shifter treats."  She pulls some pastries out of her pockets.
"Don't let me eat these."

Kanna chuckles.  "I can imagine.  And sis sometimes has the same
complaint."  She glances down at her her manifestation badge... and then
ehs?  "Huh?  What's with them?"

Moonshade picks up one and sniffs it.  "Hmm, smells good."

Mikage has arrived.

Gabrielle pings. "It -is- a full time job. You and Lian keep ticking off
OTHER Constructs."

Mutsumi says, "Can you shapeshift, Gabrielle?"

Kanna says, "Yes, but those are bad ones with no sense of fasion or
style.  And hot damn, you can reach down here, sis?  Better not manifest
in full."

Gabrielle says, "Mmmm? Yes, I have my own special blend of
shapeshifting."

Mutsumi holds up a pastry.  "Here, try one, Auntie Gabby."

Gabrielle pffts at Kanna's suggestion. "I'll manifest whereever you
want." She phases into existence, perched on a nearby rock. "Oooo,
candy."

Kanna asks, "Sis?"

She passes the pastry to Gabrielle.

Kanna says, "We're in the courts of chaos, in case you haven't
realized."

Kanna says, "We're in House Gainax, for that matter."

Gabrielle says, "The Logrus doesn't scare me." She sniffs at the pastry
and then eats it.

Kanna asks, "You know, where the big L lives?"

Kanna says, "ehhhheh."

Kanna scractches the back of her head. (where ARE we right now, anyway?
Thought we were heading for another room... though these -are- the 
courts
and Gainaxways...)

Gabrielle finishes her pastry. Oooooo, it's hallucino-tastic.

Kanna asks, "So, um... mutsumi?  What's so special about these pastries
that you can't eat them but shapeshifter can?"

Kanna asks this in the tone of voice of somebody who's getting that
sinking feeling inside...

Mutsumi says, "Oh, you start mutating into flying firebreathing
three-headed turtles if you aren't a shifter."

Gabrielle perches on a rock. "Oh, if you can't shapeshift, it would make
you go kind of... wacky."

Kanna says, "Ah."

Moonshade moves AWAY from the pastries.

Kanna takes a nice, polite step away from the pastries.

Gabrielle says, "If you are Shifter, they make you experience yummy,
semi-orgasmic flavors."

Kanna says, "Ah-hah."

Kanna then grins. "Planning to try and introduce them to Cousin Nagisa
later?" She winks.  "Or an effective simulation of the same?"

Kanna says, "No Mutsumi.  No pastries for you.  And I think you've had
enough for today, sis.  We're not going to be here long and I hear the
Logrus is still ticked about things from the Crisis.  I'd rather NOT add
'Nuking The Courts' to the list of noteable thins I've done this past
year."

Gabrielle snorts. "Logrus. Punk-ass biyatch. It tried to invade Ember
once."

Kanna says, "No, it tried to deliver Uncle Gideon and our copy of the
Serpent Prophesies."

Mutsumi sighs.  "But the Red Jam was YUMMY."

Gabrielle shoots Kanna a look. "Hey, who was alive, and who was a set of
indiscrete genetic material inside Mom then?"

Kanna siiighs.  "Nooo, Mutsumi.  No Red Jam either.  We'll figure
something from Ember to make up for it for you."  She looks back at
gabrielle, hands up in supplication.  "Hey, I'm just reporting what mom
told me, sis."

Gabrielle says, "You could learn shapeshifting, Mutsumi."

Gabrielle says, "I here you can combine that with Trump in weird ways,
too."

Mutsumi says, "That would be nifty."

Mutsumi says, "Oooh, I could find a version of that pastry that works
right out in shadow."

Kanna hrms, and pulls out a bag from her backpack to stash the shifter
treats in, verrrry carefully.   "This is true, Mutsumi.  And wouldn't 
turn
you into a three-headed Turtle that Mario the Plumber would come 
hunting."

Gabrielle looks around. "This place is kinda neat, in that old-school 
sort
of way. I like the stonework."

Moonshade says, "There's some quality craftsmanship here.  Uncle Aule
would like it."

Kanna nods.  "Yeah.  Wish we weren't so rushed, I could get some
sketches made to take home for mom, perhaps some full paintings."

Gabrielle says, "Well, I'm taking Trump impressions by the barrelful."

Gabrielle says, "Have you been having fun in Chaos, Mutsumi? They say
there are lots of Trump artists down here."

Mutsumi says, "I met a blind trump artist.  He was very nice."

Mutsumi says, "Although he was also a mad killer, but not while I was
there."

Kanna raises her eyebrows at that, and finds a place to sit (first
asking permission from it, just in case it's somebody shifted).  "Well.
Change of occupations?"

Gabrielle blinks. "Interesting. Did he execute them in braille, or does 
he
have extrasensory skills?"

Mutsumi says, "If I understood his mad ranting, he was saying something
about his Turtle-Fu letting him know where people were."

Gabrielle blinks. "Turtle-fu."

Kanna asks, "So, his Turtle-Fu was best?"

Gabrielle turns to Kanna. "Is this some sort of weird martial artists
thing?"

Kanna looks at Gabrielle.  "It can be, sis."

Mutsumi says, "But my Turtle-Fu was stronger than his, so I could sneak 
up
on him whenever I wanted.  BUt I used my power only for good, not evil."

Gabrielle asks, "What about casual indifference?"

Kanna says, "There was a guy on Jade who called himself the Secret
Emperor of the place, went around with two pineapples and a plain wooden
mask who had a fighting style with them." She scratches her cheek. 
"Either
that, or Gar was -seriously- drunk that one night when he talked about
him."

Moonshade says, "Uh...how do you use Pineapples in battle?"

Kanna says, "I think like maces, holding by the stalks."

Moonshade says, "Won't they break easy?"

Kanna shrugs.  "Not unless they're mystic Pineapples."

Kanna says, "And like I said, I think Gar was rather drunk talking about
the guy."

Gabrielle says, "So we're here to help Motoko kick some vaguely
Serpent-related ass, right? I thought she was dating it."

Kanna shakes her head.  "Not quite.  From -my- understanding... a group 
of
terrorists have fallen under the sway of one of the kids or shadows of 
The
Serpent (tm), who had been guarding the place where Justice and 
Merehallow
were."

Mutsumi says, "One of its children, Daffyl, used to guard Justice and
Merehallow.  When Morgan and Thoric and Uncle Saionji and I went to get
Merehallow, we sort of got it mad at us, so it blood cursed Morgan and
organized this Serpent's Horn army to get the swords back."

Kanna nods.  "Basically."

Gabrielle asks, "Will I get to burn things?"

Kanna says, "Before the end, probably."

Mutsumi says, Most likely."

Gabrielle says, "Well, that's all right then."

Gabrielle asks, "Still stealing my catchphrases?"

Kanna exclaims, "Sis, I'd suggest demanifesting NOW, PLEASE!"

Kanna asks, "You've made your point, shut down Projection -please- for 
the
duration?"

Gabrielle asks, "Oh, yeah, and you've been SO respectful of Ember's
boundaries in the past. You just think you're soooo big because you
encompass everything, don't you?"

Kanna says, "Sis?  It was ONE TIME!  Okay?  Please?"

Kanna has a somewhat panicky expression, looking frantically between

Gabrielle pings. "In three days we will see who's kung-fu is best! And
it's at Yig, so neitherone of us can claim unfair advantage!"

Kanna claps her hand over her manifestation badge, as if to try muzzling
it.

Kanna says, ".... siiiiiiiisss.....", in a whimper.

"Hah, I COuLD beAT yoU with 20 GRANnies TRYinG to KNiT me!"

Moonshade boggles.

twitch, considers, and then stuffs the manifestation badge in her
cleavage and zips up the jumpsuit.

Gabrielle says, "Hah! You're going right through the Spanish announe ta-
Kanna, stop tha- mmph." Her voice fades out.

Kanna smiles at the nice big psychadelic Sign of the Logrus.  "Um.
Eheh."

Beowulf, Thoric, and Naru walk up the hallway and peek in through the
melted wall.

Beowulf blinks, motions for Thoric and Naru to stay back, then walks
closer. "Um... hello?"

Kanna . o O (Mommie.)

Beowulf looks at the melted wall, blinks again slowly.

Kanna waves absently at Beowulf, eyes still on the Logrus Sign, if it's
still there.

The Logrus says, "Ahh, HEiR of ThE UniCOrn, CoWArD of ThE CouNTy, and
TEmPeR GiRL.  GooD DAY."

Beowulf notices the sign of the Logrus. "Oh." He bows deeply. "I have to
apologize for getting distracted the last time I was down here. I was
meaning to get you some Keystone Cops tapes."

"OOOH, do yoU haVE theM?"

Naru says, "I am NOT Temper Girl!"

Kanna is now at the smile and nod stage right now, and is absorbing this
all with a slightly blasted look.

Mutsumi looks thoughtful.  "Can you shapeshift, Mr. Logrus?"

"DAMn StrAIGHt!"

Beowulf digs aroudn in the bag for a moment. "Another copy of Gone with
the Wind, Buster Keaton, Three Stooges... ah, here we are." He pulls out
some tapes. "Do you need a VCR?"

Mutsumi hands the Logrus a pastry.  "Here, share and enjoy."

Beowulf looks around the room to see what there is for electricity, TV,
etc.

"I CAN Be My OWn VCr!"  He takes the tape.  "THAnK YoU.  UnLIKe Some
PEopLE, YOU KeEP your PROMIses."

Kanna . o O (My sis challanged the Logrus to a Steel Cage Match.  The
logrus is getting videotapes from Beowulf.)

Beowulf asks, "...some people... what happened?"

"JAcqUI woULdn'T EviCT GAbRiELLe, so  I HAd to."

Beowulf sighs. "Oh, dear. Was she being a rude guest?"

He points to a sign on the wall you didn't see.  "No arrogant punk-ass
bitches allowed'

Kanna bows, brain snapping automatically to Diplomacy mode, and
apologizes to the Logrus.  "I apologize for my sister's behaviour at
your end of Reality, Sir Sign of the Logrus.  I will attempt to prevent
such in the future, but she is... somewhat willful."

Beowulf blinks. "Um, right." He sighs. "It's a pity... She's a very nice
person, at heart, but she has a terrible temper at times."

"I kNOw, KANna.  She WAS a PUnK AsS BiTCh siNCe beFORe yOu wErE boRN."

Anno walks in through the hole in the wall.  "Logrus, please don't melt
the walls."

Beowulf smiles a bit, and somewhat weakly. "Um. Well. It is good to meet
you in person, so to speak."

Kanna ahs, and nods.  "So I understand."  She quirks a slight smile.
"And I must say, since it will be probably a long time before I come
this way again... it is an honor to meet you at last." She tilts her
head, curiously.  "Um, what -do- you like to go by?"

"I AM thE GREaT And ALl-POwerFUl LogruS todAY!"

Kanna nods at that.  "Good to meet you, Great and All-Powerful Logrus."
She finally notices Anno, and bows to him as well.  "And it is a 
pleasure
to meet you as well, Anno of House Gainax.  I apologize for any upset 
the
houses of Ember and Harad have brought upon your home."

Beowulf nods. "Is there anything I can do to help clean up?"

Kanna . o O (Diplomatic Mode will keep me from Cracking.)

Anno says, "Oh, don't worry about it.  Logrus, it's time for you to go
back to your cave and meditate on why we don't just melt through
everything in our path if we want people to like us."

Sulking, the Logrus departs.

Kanna ahs and stands.

Kanna watches the Logrus head out.

Beowulf sighs, and looks back and forth between Kanna and Anno. "I'm
sorry. I should have warned you about this being the home of the Logrus,
Kanna."

Kanna finally says, in a small voice, after several moments.  "... my
sister challanged the sign of the logrus to a steel cage match.  at yig,
beowulf."

Anno says, "It would ha..." He pauses.  "Bloody hell."

Beowulf blinks. And blinks again. Then BLINKS. "Oh... dear."

Kanna says, "... to put it mildly, i have a feeling this an extremly
stupid thing for various and sundry reasons that i will need to find
several ways to keep her from going through with it."

Kanna looks to be somewhat in shock.

it
relatively safe? Both for them, and for the surrounding shadow?"

Kanna also looks to be somewhat scared, too, but hey.

Kanna says, "... i am so out of my depth, beowulf...."

Beowulf hugs Kanna. "It wasn't your fault... we'll make it OK, as best 
we
can."

Servants soon come and take Moonshade off to find her and Jacqui a
non-levelled room.

Kanna hugs back, but stiffly.

Beowulf looks up. "I don't suppose we could make it a Cage Match via
Rock-em-Sock-em Robots?"

Beowulf nods, and quickly looks for one of the servants to get Thoric

Naru a room.

Kanna sips tea, trying to soothe her frayed nerves.

Beowulf says, "Or would Kanna and Naru prefer to room together?" He
looks at the two of them.

Kanna says, "...mutsumi, i have a feeling that i'm gonna have to join 
your
guys in cashing out soon to settle having been wrung out to be in any 
sort
of shape of dealing with stuff tomorrow, so I think I'm gonna have to go
to bed soon."

Naru says, "Yes, I'll share a room with Kanna."

Kanna says, "Ah, okay.  I can do this."

Beowulf nods. "Right. Let's find a room, Thoric."
