John says, "OOC Okay, you find Jacqui, Moonshade, Kanna, a
Pattern-Ghost of Shaft, Utena, Wakaba, Nagisa, and Gabrielle down in a
practice room in the basement."

Kanna OOCly returns, with drink.

Kanna looks up and over, and nods to Beowulf.  "Hey there, Bey, join
th' party." She grins a bit.

post-Gauntie battle is the only scene we've done with an actual
majority of the players present. :)"

Kanna is noticeably without her usual gi-top.  This is because
Moonshade is wearing it.  She's still wearing the red spandex top tho, 
and
her black tights.

Beowulf smiles. "What's up?"

Beowulf takes a closer look around the room, and raises an
eyebrow. "Having a bit of fun?"

Jaqueline exclaims, "oh!  Hi, uncle!"

Ota-Ghost says, "Getting my ass kicked for no good reason.  Not much
else."

Jaqueline whispers to Ota-Ghost, "I think that'll just make her wanna do
it again."

Beowulf says, "Ah... right, cousin. Good to see you again. I
think. This doesn't mean the universe is coming to an end and the dead 
are
arising, does it?" He looks mildly bemused at the prospect.

Kanna chuckles a bit.  "Just some ventage between father and daughter,
pondering heading down to the Dead U for some investigation..."

Kanna hms a bit, thoughtful.  "Good pyricorn, I hope not."

Beowulf smiles. "The cop is on the beat again?"

Jaqueline says, "he's, ah, Patternghost of Dad, uncle"

Beowulf says, "Ah, right. Good to see you again, then, whatever the
form."

Survival in the Dead Unicorn, and How to Deal with Bumpy, from Shaft's

Kanna nods.  "The rest of your family's walked the
Pattern... including Moonshade." She grins a bit.

Beowulf looks over at PatternOta, then Moonshade, and her... unusual
dress. "Venting, eh? I see."

Jaqueline sits back with Patternghost Dad, leaning against him and
looking a tad melancholy, letting everyone else do the talking.

Moonshade says, "Eh, what?"

Patternghost-Dad pats Jacqui on the head.

Beowulf says, "Yup, just finished myself, all squeaky clean upstairs." 
He
smiles.

Kanna hehs a bit at that. "Prolly try later, myself... and see what I 
can
do with updating Uncle King and Queen Mom tomorrow before heading out 
with
Lian again."  she looks rueful.

Beowulf looks over at the hole Shaft's worn in the wall. "You managed to
tag him a good bit harder than I ever did, niece," he says, looking over
at Moonshadow.

Jaqueline patpats GhostDad

Beowulf says, "Um... you think you're going to want help with that?"
He shakes his head ruefully. "I feel duty-bound to help, but I'm also
afraid I'm a bit jinxed with construct destruction at this point."

Moonshade flexes her muscles.  "I'm pretty strong."

Beowulf smiles at Moonshade. "In fact, when it came down to unarmed
combat, he wiped the floor with me every time."

Moonshade says, "Well, he's pretty flimsy compared to me."

Beowulf says, "I can well imagine. Remind me to stay on your good
side, eh?"

Kanna shakes her head.  "At the moment, Lian's already damaged it, so
we'll see what happens.  I can unterstand the feeling, but apparently 
mom
recommended me and sis to help out, so..." *she shrug, and quirks a 
grin.*
"I'll jusve to see who's willign to come with me on this little jaunt,
though I suspect after the falling-out-of-the-Ajax bit, there won't be
many.  Sumire's -already- given me an earful."

Kanna rolls her eyes, good-naturefly.

Jaqueline blinks

Beowulf sighs and looks a bit apprehensive. "Oh, dear. Please extend
my apologies, if you see her again before I do."

Beowulf says, "And if you can't find anyone else, please, let me know; 
I'm
not about to let you two get killed by yourselves, if it comes to that."
He rolls his eyes.

Kanna shrugs.  "Eh, everything -was- going fine until the zeppelin
went piffle on us.  I'll tell her, but I'll take the brunt.  I'm used to
it." She grins a bit, and nods to Bey.  "You've got it."

Moonshade paces about impatiently.

Jaqueline asks, "um, something wrong, sis?"

Moonshade says, "I just feel like kicking more butt now that I'm
warmed up."

P-Shaft laughs.

Jaqueline looks thoughtful a moment.  "Um... wanna spar while they're
talking?  I... I'm not as good as dad, but I practice a lot."

Kanna chuckles.  "Well, if you want to come down to the Ward of the
Dead Unicorn with us, an extra pair of fists would be welcome.  Or we
could spar while Jacqui and her dad chat."

Beowulf grins. "I can see the similarities already."

Moonshade looks Jacqui up and down.  "Hmm, sure we can spar, Jacqui."

Beowulf asks, "So how are you feeling now that you've had some time to
hang around the place, Moonshade?"

P-Shaft looks rather dubious at this.

Jaqueline notices dead Dad's expression and whispers to him, "Um, you
think this is a bad idea?"

Moonshade says, "I feel better now that I've slapped Dad around some."

P-Shaft whispers to Jacqui, "Don't let her grab you or you're toast."

Beowulf muses, "A nice little cathartic bit of violence, yes, I can
see that." He smiles. "Wish I could have done that with some of the
stuck-up folk I had to deal with back in secondary school, but..."

Moonshade says, "Unless we're ready to go looking for this Bumpy guy?"

Beowulf asks, "Hm?"

Kanna thinks.  "That's up to Jacq and her dad, 'cause if they want to
talk, now's the time." *wg*

Jaqueline looks a bit indecisive.  "Well... um...."

Kanna looks at Beowulf.  "Finally got the full story from Aunt Utena
about how Shamber bought it... now, we know Kasumi and the Leather
Knight were linked and had flawed fire pattern imprints.  But the
thing is, Lowen also wanted to off -Bumpy-."

Kanna says, "And Shamber's always had that condition of eternal
Bumpiness... and Shamber isn't -totally- gone.." She shrugs.

Beowulf walks over and puts a hand on Jacqui's shoulder. "If you
want... it could probably do you some good. Saying goodbye, if that's 
what
you want."

Jaqueline says, "if... if we're ready to go...."  She looks at
patternghost dad sadly.

Beowulf blinks. "Well. That would be interesting; why did he want
that?"

P-Shaft kisses Jacqui on the forehead.  "Hang tough, Jacqui," he says,
smiling.

Kanna says, "Not sure... but my theory is, if Bumpy and Shamber-Bumpy 
were
-linked-, like Kasumi and the Leather Knight were... then they'd need to
be taken out -too- in order to put the kibosh on Shaft."

Beowulf asks, "If you want to stay and talk, we can probably keep
ourselves occupied..." He shoots an enquiring look at Kanna. "Right?
Or Moonshadow and I could fence for a bit, and she could see how
washed-up her poor old uncle is?"

Jaqueline walks back over to Patternghost Dad.  "I... it was good
seeing you again, Dad.... um... even if you're only kinda sorta Dad.
I... I'm trying to move on without you but... it's hard sometimes."
She seems on the verge of crying for a moment, then seems to collect
herself.  "But I'm doing my best, I am... I'll be okay."

Kanna grins.  "I'd like to see that..." She sombers a bit.
"I... wanna get my last words in, too, actually."

P-Shaft says, "I know you'll make me proud.  Go out there and show 'em 
how
we kick ass."

Beowulf nods. "Hm. Yes, I suppose that's possible, though I'm a bit
surprised about it."

Jaqueline says, "I'll... I'll take care of mom... and... and I'll try to
help sis along too."

Jaqueline embraces P-Shaft tightly, and kisses him on the cheek.
"G'bye, Dad, I love you."

Kanna glances at Bey.  "Well, it doesn't hurt to check."

P-Shaft says, "Love you too, Jacqueline."  And then he fades away.

Beowulf waits for Jacqui to finish, before going to say his goodbyes
to cousin Shaft.

Kanna pauses, and darns.

Jaqueline sighs

Beowulf nods to Kanna, very seriously.

Jaqueline says, "I... I fogot how much I missed him."

Kanna puts her hands on Jacqui's shoulders.  And then just hugs her.
"... we all did."

Moonshade . o O (I wanted to kill him myself.)

Jaqueline takes a slow, deep breath, then turns to the others.
"Well... are we ready?"

Kanna sniffles a bit, and quirks a tired smile before releasing
Jacqui.

Beowulf sighs sadly, and hugs Jacqui himself. "He was a righteous man, 
and
we're all going to miss him." He smiles and looks over at Moonshade. 
"Even
you have to admit he'd be useful in a fight."

Jaqueline says, "I understand why sis is mad... but she knows he was a
good person."  She looks at Moonshade curiously.  "Right?"

Moonshade says, "If you're out to render your foes naked, yes."

Beowulf says, "Yup... I only knew him when his wild days were over,
but he was a good man. I just wish he'd known about you... I'm sure he
would have found a right thing to do, somehow."

Moonshade says, "I'm still thinking about the man, Jacqui."

She says, "Let's go Pimp-hunting."

Jaqueline sighs and mutters, "I'm still working on her, dad."

Jaqueline says, "maaa.... wish I had a spell rack ready.  But we'd
better go now."

Beowulf asks, "Wasn't Mother going to conjure one up for you?"

Kanna chuckles a bit, quietly, and pats Jacqui on the shoulder.
"Ember wasn't built in a Day, Jacq---okay, it was, technically, but
let's not go there," she murmurs, and then grins.  "Right.  Let's move
out, troops, if we're ready."

Jaqueline says, "ah.... she didn't give me one yet, but that's okay."

Beowulf says, "Oh, right. Well, if she hasn't finished it by the time 
you
get back, let me know and I'll make one for you."

Jaqueline says, "I don't think I'll need the Earthquake spell in the
Dead U...."

Wakaba says, "Well, we've been running around the castle.  I need to
make myself one too."

Beowulf says, "No, you certainly *won't*, Jacqui."

Gabrielle asks, "OOC: Wasn't Nagisa coming?"

She says, "I'll head over to my lab; I need to replace everything I
lost."

Kanna says, "Iiii'd suggest not, Jacqui.  Not uless you want Aunt
Nanami in your roster."

Jaqueline frowns.  "What?  From what dad told me, nobody will miss
it!"

Jaqueline asks, "If you can find an instruction manual for Uncle Mo?"

Beowulf smiles at his Mother. "I still need to get you that green and 
gold
silk."

Beowulf grins. "Right, Jacqui; I'll certainly look for it."

Kanna pauses.

Kanna snaps her fingers.  "Actually, Bey?"

Beowulf asks, "Yes?"

Utena says, "I'm going to go to bed.  I'm zonked.  See you all later." 
She
gives Jacqui a goodnight hug.

Kanna says, "If you could find a good present for Lord Lonz, I'd
appreciate it, and I'd reimburse you the cost."

Jaqueline says, "g'nite, gramma"

Utena and Wakaba head out.

Kanna exclaims, "As I don't think I can get out shopping until around
Marches." she looks rueful.  "Later, Aunt Utena, Aunt Wakaba!"

Beowulf asks, "Anything in particular, or just use my judgement?"

Beowulf says, "Sleep well, Aunt Utena."

Beowulf exclaims, "Well, I can see you're eager to set out, so I'll
let you go. Take care!"

Kanna nods.  "And we better get going before Moonshade paces a floor
in the mats.  Later, Bey!" She grins.

Jaqueline works on casting Wakaba's Pussiant Defense vs. Sorcery
with quick casting

Beowulf waves goodbye, then goes to track down Lily.

Jaqueline exclaims, "bye, uncle!"

Kanna hrms, and gets on her nice lil' armored jumpsuit that Lian had
provided a while back.  "Hm, y'need anything else, Moonshade?  We're
not going -in- to cause trouble, but in the Dead U, it tends to find
you without looking."

The front doors are wide open.  Business is in progress in the ground
floor gambling den.

Jaqueline says, "ara..... we're going to be... noticable."

Gabrielle scratches her head. "Shaft usually ran in, screamed 'Nobody
move!' then shot the first person who moved."

Moonshade says, "Well, the doors are wide open."

Jaqueline says, "oh? ok-...... oh, i don't have the cannon blast
spell... or a rack."

She shakes her head.  "Not very defensible that way."

Jaqueline says, "someone else will have to shoot somebody."

Kanna says, "Keep together people, and let's not look -too- ready to
smite --- ah so.  Well, let's find one of the croupiers or the
exchequers, see if we can get an audience."

Nagisa says, "Yes, but we want to be noticed, as we're not here to
covertly kidnap the man."

Jaqueline looks around the place to see if there's anyone that stands 
out

Kanna nods.  "Hell, 6-foot plus women heading into a bar/gambling
hall/prostitution den, we're gonna be noticeable ANYWAY.... aah, fuck 
it."

Kanna heads on in.

The guys at the door don't bother to stop you.

Jaqueline follows behind.  reallly, behind.

Nagisa walks in without any concern.

Gabrielle looks around. "It's actually kinda nice, in the sleazy way."

Kanna surveys the crowd for somebody giving the 'we're the type of
folks you want to talk with if you want to talk with the man upstairs or
other business' vibe.

Jaqueline eyes the really shiny slot machines

They're very shiny and they look fun.

You spot a weasely looking man behind a counter, Kanna.

Kanna eyes Jacquelline eyeing the slot machines.

Jaqueline senses Kanna eying her and sheepishly grins

Kanna chuckles softly, ruefully smiles, and heads for WeaselBoi.
"Oi," she says once they're in range.

Nagisa mutters a few words and waves his hands, then looks thoughtful.

Moonshade looks around the place, then goes over to watch a poker
game.

The man looks up and says, "Geez, lots of Royals we're getting lately.
What can I do for ya?"

Gabrielle hangs around Nagisa and looks dangerous.

Jaqueline stays right behind Kanna, but frets as Moonshade wanders off

Kanna raises an eyebrow at that, and chuckles.  "Well, your place is
pretty popular -- who else's been by?" She grins, and then looks a bit
more serious.  "Want to talk with the man of the house 'bout a few
things." She jerks her head upwards, implying bumpy.  "Just talk, no
trouble.  Curious 'bout a few things that happened a few months ago."

any idea why he tried to grab you?"

Some examination of the site shows there are stairs down to a
basement.

cloak... I... I hope they didn't take it."

Kanna nods.  "We'll check for it."  She heads down the stairs, and
sees if there's a door there, and if it's locked or not.

A temporal scry from across the street shows the building catching
fire from inside.

Jaqueline says, "the building.... it caught fire from the inside"

Jaqueline tries to see if anyone came out

No one came out of the burning building.

Kanna heads down the stairs.  Nagisa begins poking thorugh the ruble.

Moonshade flies along with Nagisa.

Kanna flies to catch the man in red before he goes thrud on the

Jaqueline sighs and flies back to dad's ruined apartment.  "I hope
Kuonji doesn't kill your dad."

Gabrielle says, "Although Kuonji has been doing things like rescuing
Wakaba and Utena, rather than murdering Shaft."

Nagisa inclines his head, "Let's see the cache once more and keep
looking."

Kanna heads back.  "True.  But given his connection to
Outsiders... that's still effing dangerous."

Jaqueline flies to a spot where the backdoor is visible, and tries to
temporal-scry there.

Nagisa asks, "Who... is Kuonji?"

Kanna shows Nagisa the trump of Kuonji.  "A guy... gal, actually, but 
his
behaviour's close enough to male that hell, *I* was fooled for nearly a
month, who I ran around with earlier this month."

Nagisa nods, "Ah... and his... her... connection to our Cousin's
death?"

Kanna says, "Managed to convince me to go and retreive a key for him
to close a Gate, as it turned out, it doubled for a Spikard Key, save 
that
said Key may very well have been a fake... and there's hints that he/she
trained under Shaft."

Kanna says, "I remember quite clearly him being rattled when sis
mentioned Shaft'd been killed by Taylor."

Nagisa looks thoughtful, "A spikard key? What did this person do with 
the
key?"

Kanna pokes around the scene of the burn site now that they're all
back, etc.  "He's got Air Pattern imprint... we think he's descended
from Van... and he used it to close an 'automatic opening' gate up in 
the
mountains of Lipun, that was supposed to open 40 years after the Gate of
Revolution opened."

Jaqueline continues to Scry.

Kanna says, "Save that it seemed to open about a month or so early,
dad doesn't believe such gate -exsits-, but when Lian and I went to
examine there, we triggered SOMETHING that released Machin Shin."

Nagisa rubs his head, "I REALLY need to get out more often."

Kanna says, "And the ghost that was guarding it was implying Shaft had
plans to deal with outsiders, but we just -asked- Patternghost Shaft if 
he
did, and he didn't have any.  Then again, I don't know when his most
recent 'backup' on the pattern was made."

Kanna sighs.

Gabrielle pats his arm. "You do important work at Cabra, dear."

As you search the ruins, a raven flies over you, and begins to circle,
then descend towards Kanna.

Kanna looks rueful at Nagisa.  "You think -you- have problems
understanding it, Cous?  I -lived- it... eh?"

Kanna looks up at the raven, and lifts a hand for it to land if it
wants to.

Nagisa smiles, "None of which has borne much fruit I'm afraid. I'd
forgotten what it was like to be in the thick of things..." He glances 
up
at the approaching raven.

to come see him on his ship 'The Risky Chance'.  He wants to speak with
me."

Moonshade scratches her head.  "We go hunt down Taylor and kick his
ass."

Gabrielle blinks. "Well, I can try." She reaches out a finger and
touches Jacqui's forhead.

Jaqueline opens her mind up to Gabrielle

Kanna looks down at the note again, and at the raven.

Nagisa smiles proudly at Gabrielle.

The Raven hangs uot and waits.

Gabrielle says, "Mmm. Okay, I think I can make a trump from this."

Kanna mutters under her breath.  "... blonde logrus users, potential
pattern pimps, crimson pimps from Harad, bottles of wine from long
ago, and now messages from Pirates I've never met in person." She
looks at the Raven, balefully.

Gabrielle asks, "Will you be wanting to gang-trump him?"

Jaqueline says, "yes, I think we'll have to"

friends," she says miserably.

Nagisa pats Jaqueline's shoulder, "There, now... it can't have been
all that bad."

Kanna moves over to help comfort, too, transferring the raven to her
shoulder.  "Hey, you've still got us, though.  We count, I'd think."

Jaqueline can't help but smile at Aunt Kanna for that.

Moonshade says, "This Taylor is an old friend of yours?"

Nagisa says, "Ah... that is to say... um... well, you know what I
mean... i mean I recall... er. No, I don't suppose that matches up to
this." He takes a rueful glance at Shaft's burnt home.

Kanna snrks.  "You know, I still don't know what he looks like?"

Gabrielle kisses Nagisa on the cheek. "You're cute when you stutter."

Jaqueline says, "he's... um... he used to be my friend.... i saw him a

growing up"

Misato and the rest, though."

Jaqueline says sadly, "I hope she's better than momma knight."

Nagisa blushes at Gabrielle's kiss and looks rather discomfitted,
"Dearest we're in public... erhm..."

Kanna looks at the raven.  "Stay there."  She then pulls out her trump

Gabrielle grins. "I know." She proceeds to kiss him rather thoroughly.

Nagisa mmmrrphs as he is kissed into submission. Forty years ago,
Nagisa would've fainted by now.

need to do those computations I was planning on."

Kanna nods.  "Just be careful, sis...a nd keep a monitor line on the
logrus lady with Bumpy." She nods to Nagisa.  "Take care, Bro-in-law."

Jaqueline says, "dad used to shoot whales down there"

Moonshade says, "There's whales in the harbor?"

Jaqueline says, "there were."

Moonshade says, "Sure, I'll come along."

Jaqueline says, "there was this pirate, he was able to control sea
animals and made whales attack the harbor.  then dad came in and
killed them all."

Kanna chuckles at that.  "That's how he came up with Whalekiller.  A
really fucking bigass crossbow."

Jaqueline frets.  "What happened to Whalekiller?"

You head down to the HArbor.

Kanna says, "Mom was inspired by him, and built a similar form into
one of sis's manifestations..." She hrms.  "No idea, Jacqui.  If it
was in the weapons cache.." She frowns, and sighs, shaking her head.

Jaqueline looks over the harbor.  Yes, she can see in her mind's eye
her dad running around, harpooning whales madly.  Sigh.

Kanna hunts down 'The Risky Chance'.

Kanna looks at Jacqui, sighs, and pats her shoulder reassuringly.

You find the Risky Chance; it's an Amber made clipper.  Very nice

One of the crewmen looks at Kanna. "Ahh, the princess.  Captain
Roberts is waiting for you."

Jaqueline looks at Kanna curiously.  "Did you do something to get the
attention of pirates?"

Kanna whistles softly, and mentally keeps a line open to sis via
manifestation.  Just a mild trickle, really. She then
looks... embarrased a bit, and murmurs to Jacqui.  *q* "Tell you about

later, Jacqui."  She then speaks up.  "I hope I didn't keep him 
waiting."

Jaqueline says, "um.... okaaaaay"

The crewman says, "Come aboard, Princess.  We haven't been waiting
long."  He points to the captain's cabin.

Jaqueline looks a bit nervous being on the boat.  She hadn't been on
the boat since The Fleet Crusher Incident.

Kanna follows, backed up by Jacqui and Moonshade.  She nods to the
crewman.  "Thank you."  She knocks on the captain's door.

You page, "Anything for Kanna to be on-guard about, save general

The Dread Recreational Pirate Roberts turns out to be a handsome
blonde man wearing a black scarf over most of his hair and a black
domino mask, clad to fit in the cover of a bodice-ripper.

He sighs and puts the wine away.  "So be it."  He pulls out a chair
for you, then takes one for himself.  "I will make myself plain.  I am a
simple man, who seeks adventure on the high seas.  I have long sought to
find a woman worthy of myself.  Yet, Pirate Queens are few and far
between, you see..."

He says, "So I was quite interested to discover a woman as magnificent 
as
yourself had taken up this art."

Kanna blinks at that, and blushes, and giggles.  "Oh dear.  Oh my.  Oh
dear."  She looks apologetic, sitting in the chair.  "... good Pyricorn,
has the story of what happened to the Kashmir Trading Ship gone around
-that- far?"

Siamese have been stealing it from each other over the last few
centuries.  The KTC is about to steal it again for the Siamese; I plan

intercept them, then return it to the Sindhi for the reward."

Kanna smiles slightly, and sighs.  "My apologies, Dread Pirate, but
I'm afraid that Pirating for me is more of a hobby, not a
carreer... and I have too many duties to my family to draw away from
them." She blushes, again.  "However, I'd hate to think you've gone to 
all
this trouble to contact me for nothing..."

Kanna leans close, grabs by the shirtfront, and KISSES him.

Kanna lets it go on for a goodly while before releasing him with a sly
smile.

He grins back.  "Feel free to lay seige to me again any time."  He
looks thoughtful.  "Do you have a date for the Marching ball yet?"

Kanna OOCly says, "Aaaagh... Ruka, Recreation Pirate, Ruka,
Recreational Pirate... decisions, decisions.... Agggh!"

Kanna looks thoughtful at that.  "No, not as of yet..." She looks
sheepish.  "Sadly, with everything going on, I'm not sure if I'll be
able to -make- Marches... however, you clearly went to all this
trouble, and know how to contact me... might I have a trump of you,
should I be in the area?  After everything I've been through the past
month, I could use the... recreation." She smiles.

He says, "Alas, my lady, I have only a few well trained ravens.  Trump
artists are few and far between, so I have no trumps of myself to give."

Kanna nods.  "A trump of myself, then."  She pulls out one of herself,

leans close in again, running her hands against his chest.  "I have...

You page, "Actually, hum.  Given Kanna's strength/skill how hard would

be for Kanna to take backt he trump without the Pirate noticing?" to

Akemi pages, "He just put it in his pocket, so it would be rather
tricky.  Yo have the impression he's pretty strong." to you.

Kanna kisses him again, just for good measure.

He smiles very broadly and takes the card.  "You are quite generous,
my lady."  And he kisses back, natch. :)

Kanna finally lets go.  "Pleasant Sailing, Dread Pirate."  She smiles, 
and
backs away.

He rises and opens the door.  "Goodbye, my lady, and fare well."

Jaqueline is standing outside with Moonshade.  It seems she's blushing
slightly but trying not to show it

Kanna waves, and smiles to him.  She exits.  "Well, I'd say we're done
here."

Jaqueline follows along with Moonshade, whistling idly.

The crew waves farewell.

Jaqueline asks, "so, um, what did he want?"

Kanna gets them out of the way of the ship, and gets sis to open a
gate to Castle Amber.  "Wanted me to go a'pirating with him to mess up 
the
KTC and Siam even -more-." She looks rueful. "And asked me out for
Marches.  Damned if I'm almost tempted to accept his offer, though I 
have
my doubts about him being a -real- Pirate captain."  She grins.

Kanna says, "He reminded me of the Crimson Pimp, actually," scratching 
her
cheek.  "Well, something about the hair and eyes.  Which means Harad. 
Huh."

Jaqueline says, "oooooh.  he is, what auntie yumi would call, hunky."

Kanna says, "Yes, indeed."  She looks rueful.

Jaqueline grins and elbows Kanna

Kanna coughs, and blushes.  "What?  What?"  She grins.

Moonshade says, "He looked quite strong."

Kanna nods.  "I noticed that too, yeah."

Isn't the word she's looking for here "Yummy"?

Jaqueline says, "you're blushing, auntie"

Jaqueline exclaims, "wait till aunt gabby finds out!"

Kanna coughs.  This doesn't help the blush, any.  "I think she already
knows, and is ready to chew me out about it." She looks sheepish.

Jaqueline says, "chew you out?  but... but... she should _see_ him."

Kanna says, "But enough of that.  Let's head home and do the crashing
thing.  I need sleep."

Jaqueline says, "might as well."  She looks at Moonshade.  "You still 
want
to spar?"

Kanna says, "And I need to walk the Pattern come the morning, and
update Uncle Tylor and Mom, and help Lian... I might not be around for
Marches ANYWAY at this rate, but I wouldn't MIND being here..."
