From tbutler@birch.net Tue Jul 24 22:35:29 2001 Date: Tue, 24 Jul 2001 20:47:44 -0500 From: Travis Butler To: Philip J. Moyer , Andrew Huang Subject: UnS 7/24 Log After dinner, Beowulf decides to relax and try to think over everything that's happened recently, and decides to find a scenic place on Kolvir to look, and hopefully find one of the few people he can talk to about everything... the Unicorn. You head up onto the slopes. Tir'na'nog shines in the sky. The moon is just a sliver away from being full, and Tir'na'nog is quite close to being solid. Beowulf looks up at Tir'na'nog and smiles at the beauty. Anything look unusual about it? Someone is walking up the steps. Beowulf blinks and uses his spectacles to get a closer look at the walker. Wakaba says, "It's Anthy." Beowulf asks, "OOC How long would it take for me to catch up with her?" Wakaba says, "OOC She's so far up the stairs, you'd have to follow her into Tir'na'nog if you wanted to catch upwith her." Beowulf says, "OOC One wonders whether there are any coincidences in Amber. :)" Beowulf asks, "OOC The stairs are wide enough that it wouldn't mean falling off if one is startled, say, by a trump call?" Wakaba says, "OOC Yes, as long as the person stops walking." Beowulf trumps Anthy... I assume she's too far away to call to normally? Anthy does not take the call. Beowulf asks, "OOC Can I tell if Anthy on the stairs actually reacted, as if she had received a trump call?" Wakaba says, "OOC She seemed to just keep walking. But if she has enough psyche, if she's just ignoring it, you wouldn't see a reaction." Beowulf says, "OOC Drat... I'm trying to figure out if I'm interpreting you right, and if it's supposed to be significant or not. ;_; I can't really think of any reason why I'd want to go into Tir-na'nog, but I don't want to ignore this if it is a GM hint." Wakaba says, "OOC What cha do is up to you." Beowulf says, "OOC What the heck... I'll follow up." Beowulf takes off after Anthy. You sprint up the steps after her and into the castle. It's a fair climb up the stairs. You hear music as you draw closer, the sound of partying and carousing. but when you pass through the gates, the music fades and the courtyard is empty. Beowulf asks, "OOC Do I get the feeling that I'm not wanted?" Wakaba says, "OOC You don't get any particular feeling at all. It's just a hanging out being courtyardy." Beowulf says, "OOC All right..." Beowulf takes a few calming breaths, and tries to mentally prepare himself for the kind of visions one might encounter inside Tir-na'nog. Then he enters the castle. You walk through the courtyard. Do you want to head for the armory, the stables, the great hall or round to a side entrance? Or to the gardens? Beowulf hmms to himself for a moment, then heads for the gardens. The gardens are beautifully kept as always. As you approach, you can hear a lot of rustling noises coming from the direction of the gazebo. Beowulf follows the rustling noises to the gazebo, walking carefully to avoid disturbing anyone. You see something rather remarkable. There's a very large altar in the gazebo for no discernable reason. Moriya, Mitsune, Davros, and Motoko seem to be having mad passionate sex on top of it. Beowulf's eyebrows climb into his hairline, before he quickly turns away to give them their privacy. Did the quick look tell him anything about what kind of altar it was? It had serpents all over it. Beowulf raises his eyebrows again, and decides that they must be having an... interesting... time down in Chaos. From what he knows of the religion of the Serpent, just how sacriligeous would it be to, um, make out on his altar? Probably it's the Rite of High Summer, whcih you believe involves ritual sex. Beowulf nods to himself, and moves on. Wakaba asks, "OOC Where in the castle are you going to?" Beowulf thinks for a moment. If Anthy doesn't appear to be in the gardens, where else might she be? Library, her quarters, maybe her weaving room. Beowulf heads to the Library. In the library, you can see spectral Travis hard at work reading books. Naru is here as well, helping him. They don't seem to notice your existence. Snickers sleeps peacefully in a chair nearby. Beowulf asks, "OOC No signs of anyone else, or anything else going on?" Wakaba says, "OOC Just a quiet night of research here in the library of spectral amberites." Beowulf gives Snickers a scritch between the ears, even if she can't feel him. :) Snickers purrs in her sleep. Beowulf asks, "OOC What do I know about Grandmother's weaving? Just that she weaves?" Wakaba says, "OOC She likes to make tapestries." Wakaba says, "OOC Often either of historical events or stories she likes." Beowulf decides to head up to her weaving room and see what she's working on, if anything. Several tapestries hang in the weaving room, though there is no Anthy here. One of them shows Sakura at the edge of the Abyss. She is conducting a sacrifice of Baby Nanami. Beowulf shudders slightly at that reminder of Aunt Nanami's travails, and says a mental prayer to the Unicorn for Nanami, that her pains may be eased. Beowulf looks at the tapestry more closely. Anything of note when he thinks about the scene? The second image shows a woman rising from the Abyss on wings of flame. She has three eyes. Half her hair is white, the other half Black. She looks down on Sakura and the bloody altar. Well, Sakura, so far as you know, tried to kill Nanami in the Pattern Chamber, not the Abyss. Beowulf asks, "OOC Could the woman rising from the Abyss be Hel, perhaps?" Wakaba says, "OOC Could be." The third one shows the three-eyed woman and Sakura stealing the Jewel of Judgement. Beowulf looks at the second image, deep in thought, before moving on to the next. The fourth one shows many people bowing before the three eyed woman, including Sakura. Then you feel a yank, Tir'na'nog shakes. Beowulf asks, "OOC Anything significant in the way the drawings are done, or just in what they show?" Beowulf asks, "OOC Is it about time for the moon to set?" Wakaba says, "OOC THe moon shouldn't set for another 6 hours or more." Beowulf tries to do a PatternSeek for Anthy, and another one for 'the person he saw climbing to Tir-na'nog', to see if they're in the same direction. This closer to a Pattern, you can't seek things in shadow, unfortunately. Beowulf asks, "OOC What can I think of that might cause Tir'na'nog to shake?" The shaking stops. The room has rearranged itself and no longer has tapestries. It's now an armory. Wakaba says, "OOC Tir" Wakaba says, "OOC About the only thing is that Tir'na'nog's been known to shake in heavy storms, but usually it quickly vanishes during storms due to Moonlight lack." Beowulf asks, "OOC What do I see in the Armory?" Lots of weapons of the kinds you'd expect to find in Amber's armory, but this room is clearly laid out the same as before; it's just that it's now got weapons in it. Beowulf asks, "OOC As if, somehow, the room's function had changed from being a weaving room to being an Armory?" Wakaba says, "OOC Exactly." Beowulf asks, "OOC Any way I can think of to see if I might have jumped -- or Trumped -- into another universe? Say, the one I was looking at in the Tapestry?" Wakaba says, "OOC You could find a room with a window and look outside." Beowulf quickly goes to a room with an outside window. The landscape looks fairly similar, except that no lights are on in the palace or in the city down at the bottom of the mountain, which is odd for nighttime. And it's very, very quiet. Beowulf asks, "OOC Anything else of note?" Beowulf heads to the Great Hall. Wakaba says, "OOC That's all you can make out from this angle; it's disorienting because you're upside down, high above the land." Beowulf says, "OOC When I go to the Great Hall, approach cautiously in case there's someone in there." The Great Hall proves to have the woman with black/white hair sitting spectrally on the throne with five women kneeling before her. Two have red hair, twohave dark, one is blonde, all carry Patternblades. Beowulf stays carefully out of sight. Do the women look familiar? Say, one looking like what he's heard Aunt Juri looks like, and one like Aunt Corrine? Yep. Juri and Corrine are two of them. Beowulf says, "OOC Oh, sh*t. o.O" Beowulf asks, "OOC Can Bey hear them talking?" Wakaba says, "OOC They seem to be communing silently with their eyes closed. All of the kneelers have a rune on their foreheads." Beowulf asks, "OOC Does the rune look familiar to him at all?" Wakaba says, "OOC IT looks like a Sidar Rune in style, which means 'Servant'" Beowulf asks, "OOC In my pre-Logrus studies, can I think of any mystical ceremonies or bindings that used a rune in that fashion?" Wakaba says, "OOC Normally, it was used for making golems, rather than on people." After a while, the five women rise and head for the various exits. Corrine seems to be coming your way. Beowulf ducks into a hiding place to wait until she passes by. Looking at her move, how's her WF look compared to mine? Good enough to see me hiding? Wakaba says, "OOC You think your warfare is better." She walks past you and heads off down the hallway. The woman continues to sit on her throne. Beowulf follows Corrine carefully. Corrine heads to a parlor, where she starts painting a landscape. With her eyes shut, mind you. Beowulf asks, "OOC Any other pictures in the room?" There are a dozen or so other paintings, showing various landscapes. You recognize a few of them: One is of a glade in Arden. One is near Harad City. And one of them is near Begma's capital. Beowulf asks, "OOC If I recognize the locations, anything significant I can remember about them?" Wakaba says, "OOC No special properties you know of. " Beowulf tries to memorize the scenes, so he can report them to his Ember's Corrine later. Anything else he can tell from watching her? She seems to be a very good painter, and works quickly. She seems to move and carry herself much like your Aunt Corrine does. And she obviously isn't Queen of Ember here as she has no tan. Beowulf asks, "OOC Can he recognize what she's working on now?" It's a great chalk cliff; you don't recognize it, but it has a nice sandy beach. It does strike you that all the paintings have no people or signs of human life. Beowulf nods to himself... one more fit to the theme. Beowulf backs away from her room. About how much time would he normally have before Tir'na'nog vanishes/ Wakaba says, "OOC Night is still young. Probably 4-5 more hours." Beowulf moves carefully to the Library. The Library is still a library. There's an old man librarian, sitting and staring at a book with his eyes shut, unmoving. You don't recognize him. The contents are fairly different; the books look a lot older and different. Beowulf looks around the room, staying out of sight of the librarian. Does the set of books look any different from what he's used to? And can he tell anything about what research is being done by looking at what's checked out, with his library experience? Beowulf looks for a history of the place, using his obscure reference sources skill. You recognize the older books, but there's books you've never seen, and maybe half the books you'd expect to find aren't here. And the organization scheme is different. However, you do manage to find the history books and some general histories. Where do you want to read them? Beowulf asks, "OOC Hmmm... have there been any stories about people being able to take things out of our Amber's Tir'na'nog?" Wakaba says, "OOC Normally, it is not possible, unless the object turns solid looking, which it usually doesn't." Wakaba says, "OOC There are, however, lots of obscure places to curl up with a book in the castle." Beowulf finds a nice obscure spot in the castle to skim through the books. He tries to devote enough time to get the important bits, while leaving himself at least a couple of hours until the castle will disappear. The main difference you find is that none of the Harad girls seem to die in the Cimbri wars. The history ends with Gendo's marriage to Charlotte. Everything else seems to be largely the same, at least to a casual skim. Oh, wait, and one other thing. Shinji didn't trip on the Pattern and die either. Beowulf hmms, and tries to think of any significance to those differences. Well, Catherine, Eowyn, and Haruka Minor all died basically stupid, pointless deaths. But those deaths probably made it easier later on for Sakura to infiltrate Amber. Also, there's some reason to believe that Haruka's five kids might have become the Children of the Elements if they'd all lived. Beowulf asks, "OOC So Sakura might have been forced to be more circumspect if they'd lived?" Wakaba says, "OOC Yep." Beowulf asks, "OOC Now that we've finished with these books... did any of the books I didn't recognize look like they had anything to do with cross-universal travel?" Wakaba says, "OOC Maybe; you'd need to search for that topic. Half the library is different, takes time to check them all." Beowulf OOCly nods. "And where in the castle do I think I'd find any possible invasion plans? Tactically, which do I think would be the wiser search?" Wakaba says, "OOC If they have written anything down, probably in the royal chambers." Beowulf asks, "OOC And what do I think the chances would be that they have written anything down?" Beowulf asks, "OOC As from a tactical viewpoint, how hard would it be to operate without written plans?" Kuonji Ukyou wakes up. Wakaba says, "OOC There's a fair chance of it." Wakaba says, "OOC Most armies need written communications if they're very large." Beowulf OOCly nods. Beowulf goes to look for plans in the royal chambers. The door is locked. Beowulf says, "OOC Could I use my racked teleport to get into the room, or is there another way I can think of to get in that won't leave obvious signs (like breaking down the door? ^_^)" Wakaba says, "OOC You could try taking a wax impression and conjuring a key." Beowulf asks, "OOC How long would that take?" Wakaba says, "PRobably about 10-20 minutes." Beowulf takes a wax impression and backs to an out-of-the-way area to try conjuring a key. No problem. You make a key, you unlock the doors and enter the royal office. Then you get to try to search for the plans. You're still searching, when the castle lurches again, then vanishes. You begin to do the 'plummet towards the city below' Beowulf asks, "OOC Quick look, does it look like my Amber, or the quiet one?" Wakaba says, "Looks like yours." Beowulf quickly pulls out his Amber trump and trumps back down to his room. Blinkie, you're there. Beowulf asks, "OOC Was it about the time I'd expect for it to vanish, or was it early?" Wakaba says, "OOC Looking out a window shows clouds have covered the moon." Beowulf OOCly nods. Did I happen to see Anthy falling at the same time? Wakaba says, "OOC You were too busy falling yourself." Beowulf OOCly nods. "And this is my room, as far as I can tell? :)" Beowulf asks, "OOC And what time is it, checking the watch?" Wakaba says, "OOC You seem to be in right place, it's about 3 AM" Beowulf asks, "OOC Enough time to go back out to Kolvir and look some more, or should I just go back to sleep?" Beowulf asks, "OOC Er, go to sleep?" Wakaba says, "OOC There's enough time to look if you don't mind losing sleep." Beowulf says, "OOC I'm an Amberite, I can do without sleep. :) ANd I'd like to get this finally out of the way, so we don't have to do another private session. :)" You scour the mountain until the dawn. The Unicorn does not come out and play, unfortunately. It's very peaceful, though. Beowulf grins ruefully, and figures you can't win 'em all... at least he had some nice peaceful moments to relax after his interesting experiences. :) When it's about breakfast time -- i.e. when he's sure folks will be up -- he tries trumping Corrine. Beowulf says, "OOC And won't mind being disturbed. :)" Corrine takes the call. "Good morning, Beowulf." Beowulf says, "Good morning, your Majesty. Would you have a few moments to discuss something with me? It may concern Aunt Juri, and some of your paintings." She blinks. "Alright." She offers you a hand. Beowulf takes the hand and pops through to Ember. She's at the breakfast table with the Red Knight. "Have you eaten yet?" Beowulf bows respectfully to both of them. "No, actually, I haven't. Would you mind a little discussion over breakfast, or would you prefer to wait?" He smiles a bit. She sends for food for you. "So what brings you to our door?" she asks. Beowulf says, "Last night... well, I'd planned on looking for the Unicorn on Kolvir, but ended up going into Tir'na'nog instead." Corrine nods as she munches on a waffle. Her husband appears to be intently smothering his in every substance known to man Beowulf says, "I found a tapestry that seemed to depict some scenes relating to Hel, the person I've heard Aunt Juri is supposed to fight... and apparently it was a trump, because I apparently ended up in that world's Tir'na'nog." Corrine says, "How strange. I have heard of woven trump, though." She frowns at a memory. Beowulf says, "While I was there... I saw Hel sitting in the Great Hall, faced by... you and your sisters. Your four sisters." He goes on to describe the scene, including the Sidar rune. She frowns. "Yes, Tylor told me Motoko had visited this place in a dream." Beowulf nods. "I need to get together with her and compare visions, and see if we can find any details that only one of us saw." Beowulf says, "I then followed... 'you' back to your studio, and watched you paint." He describes the pictures he saw, in case they strike any memories or ideas for her. She says, "Those are all places on the Amber side of things, which are places of natural beauty close to human habitation, but out of sight of it." She frowns. "Probably ideal for bringing through armies unseen." Beowulf nods thoughtfully. "I was wondering if the fact that they had no people had any significance, since the 'Amber' I saw from that Tir'na'nog was also apparently deserted -- no lights or anything." Beowulf blinks. "Invasion through trump paintings?" "The Land of the Dead is said to be quite lifeless." Beowulf smiles. "Well, yes. I was wondering if the lack of life in the paintings might be another sign of that, but it sounds like it's got a more... sinister significance." Corrine says, "Well, in theory, with enough power, you can punch through between universes using a trump of Point X at the equivalent of Point X in your universe of departure." She says, "The fact that humanity is all zombies in the Land of the Dead apparently is also likely related." Beowulf says, "And this Hel... if she could control you and your sisters in that way, or turn that universe into a Land of the Dead to control them that way, she probably has power." Beowulf asks, "Could you give me a list of where these sites are?" She writes out a list for you; most are in Amber's lands or Golden Circle. Beowulf tries to look tactically at the sites, and see whether they might make a good invasion pattern. Basically, they target the Golden Circle by land; one could quickly seize strategic points from here and be posed to move on Amber by land from the cardinal points. Beowulf nods... tactically, they make all too much sense, it seems. :( Beowulf says, "I think the Marshal probably needs to see these, as well as the King." She nods. "Yes. I will need to alert my own Marshal as well." Beowulf tries to remember as much of Corrine's behavior as he can. "Does any of that make any more sense to you than it does to me?" Corrine says, "Well, what she did really was pretty normal for me, although I've never been that much into landscapes." Beowulf nods. "And the lack of sight would make sense for zombies?" She nods. "Yes. The servants of Hel seem to all go around with closed eyes." Beowulf says, "After observing 'you', I went to the library to check some history... apparently, the major difference was that all of your sisters survived... oh, and Shinji didn't trip and die on the Pattern. The books all ended when Grandfather married 'Charlotte'." Corrine nods. "Motoko only saw up to Makoto being around, so that makes sense." Beowulf says, "That also might match with the scenes I saw on the tapestry that sent me there." He describes them to Corrine. "It seems like Hel gained her power there by Sakura sacrificing Nanami at the Abyss." Corrine shudders. "Delightful." Beowulf describes the tapestry and its style as best he can, in case Corrine the artist can catch anything he missed. Corrine says, "It would confirm the theory of Hel being a creature from the Abyss." Beowulf nods, obviously something that hadn't occurred to him yet. Corrine says, "The art style sounds like Anthy, I think, from the tapestries." "Given they were in Tir'na'nog, that might not mean anything." Beowulf nods. Beowulf says, "I was trying to search the royal quarters in the alternate Tir'na'nog for invasion plans when it vanished; apparently a cloud went over the moon here, making this Tir'na'nog vanish." She nods. "A common danger of Tir'na'nog." Beowulf says, "Something of a relief, all the same, since I wasn't sure if I was actually in that other universe and might get stuck there." He frowns. "I've heard of tapestries in Tir'na'nog that sent you to another place, but I've not heard of any that sent people to other universes." Corrine says, "Tir'na'nog is a strange place. It may simply have all been phantasms and shadows, even the view from the window." Beowulf nods. "I was wondering about that. I suspect I should talk to Grandmother about this as well." Corrine nods. "I believe that would be a good idea." Beowulf says, "Anyway... I'm not sure if this has been much help for you, but I'm glad for your time." He thinsk for a moment. "Oh... I'm soon going to talk to Bessie again; one thing Uncle Tylor brought up is how Bessie survived falling into the whirlpool. I'm not sure if it has any bearing on how Juri ended up where she did, but if I find out anything that relates, I'll let you know." Corrine says, "There is probably some relevance, as I can't imagine Bessie escaped under her own power." Beowulf nods. Beowulf says, "Oh, if you talk to Kanna before I do..." He goes over what happened in the Mystaran expedition, especially mentioning Kuonji's role, and also mentions his talk with Spellvis. "You might let her know what happened; I know she was trying to figure out his game." Corrine nods. "I will do so." Beowulf asks, "Anything else I can do for you?" Corrine says, "I'm good to go right now." Corrine says, "Thank you for sharing this with me. I hope I was of some help." Beowulf nods. "In that case, thank you for your time... and take care, both of you." He thinks of what happened to Morgan and Hiko, and shudders. "I don't need any more family members gone, even if Morgan and Hiko more or less got themselves into it." She nods. "Exactly." The Red Knight says, "So where are you off to next, Beowulf?" Beowulf asks, "After talking to folks down in Amber with this information, and talking to Bessie, I was planning on checking out a mystery trump I found in my deck down in Gainax." He blinks. "Perhaps you'd like to look at it, Aunt Corrine?" Beowulf says, "It appeared in my deck at the same time as the one I used to find and reach Bessie." She takes the trump and studies it. "Hmm, it's on the Chaos side of things, I think." Beowulf says, "That makes sense, given where it appeared." He hands her the trump of House Gainax that appeared in his deck at Ebenscrux. "Aeris thought this was the same style, and I suspect Anno somehow got it in my deck there." She examines them. "I believe Aeris is correct." Beowulf says, "Well, it should make things interesting when I go check it out." She says, "I suppose he is hoping you'll poke your nose into it. Although I'm surprised he didn't just ask you to." Beowulf hmms. "That's certainly true. I wonder if Great-Grandfather wasn't the one who made these, then?" He hands her the Bessie trump for comparison. She studies it. "Definitely the same makers. I can't imagine when Anno would have met Bessie to make a trump of her, though." Beowulf blinks. "You have another point. Hm. I wonder who's the benevolent trump artist, then? Another thing Bessie might be able to help with." Corrine says, "It's not anyone I know, anyway." Beowulf nods, and looks over at the Red Knight. "Anything you can think of that I ought to look out for, with what's been going on?" She says, "Not off the top of my head. Other than that we need another Phoenix egg to get to Juri, as the original one was blown to bits." Beowulf asks, "Or... Bessie, perhaps?" Beowulf blinks. "What happened to the original Phoenix Egg? Lost when Morgan got into one of her troubles?" Corrine says, "I'm sure Bessie would have gotten to Juri by now if she could have under her own power. The Phoenix Egg got blown to bits in Arden." Beowulf nods. "Bessie got us *almost* all the way to Juri, with the flying carpet I conjured to hold us all..." He describes the situation with circling around the small area they couldn't get into. "Uncle Tylor thought one of the demijewels might be able to get us in, and... wasn't one of Merehallow's powers related to getting places you couldn't ordinarily go?" She says, "I believe it aids shadow traveling, yes." "And it is the Sword of Air, for visiting an island in the sky." Beowulf says, "And finally, if worst comes to worst... it's risky, but we could try the method Morgan apparently used -- instead of magically concealing ourselves from the monsters that attacked us on the way there, let them attack at the boarders, and hope they'll open up and rescue us." Beowulf says, "At least it seems like we have options other than another Phoenix Egg, though of course it would be best if we could get another one." She nods. Beowulf thinks for the third or fourth time that they might be finished. :) "Anything else I can do for you down in Amber? I should get down there and notify folks." She shakes her head. "Not really. Have a nice trip." Beowulf smiles. "Again, take care." He takes his leave and trumps back to Amber. Beowulf asks, "OOC It's about mid-morning by now, right? Grandmother would probably be in the gardens?" OOC YEs. Beowulf looks for Anthy in the gardens. Unlike the usual affairs, she is not here. Beowulf hms, and goes looking for her, asking around the castle. Anthy apparently told folk she'd be gone for a week or so. Beowulf winces, having a sudden suspicion where she might have gone. Beowulf looks for Tylor. You find Tylor, busy reading reports. "Good morning," he says. Beowulf bows. "Good morning, your Majesty." He hesitates for a moment. "Has Grandmother talked to you about making a trip somewhere?" Tylor says, "Yes, she's going to be gone a week or so, I think." Beowulf nods. "I see. I had some questions I was going to ask her, about last night..." He describes his experiences in Tir'na'nog. He listens to all of it, and gets you to give him the list of sites you worked out with Corrine. "Interesting. Of course, this may merely be phantasms of Tir'na'nog. The truth you think you see there is not always the truth." Beowulf nods. "Indeed. That's why I wanted to talk to Grandmother about it." He hesitates for a moment. "I'm wondering if she wove that tapestry I saw... to go visit that world." "She has great control over Tir'na'nog, so it is entirely possible." He continues, "As she is the Keeper of Dreams." Beowulf says, "Yes." He thinks for a moment. "Well, if she's gone there, there's not much we can do about it at the moment." Beowulf says, "Let's see, I've cross-checked what I could with Corrine... a logical next step would be to talk to Motoko, and see how much my vision corresponds with hers." He says, "Anthy generally knows what she is doing." He nods. "Yes, getting in touch with our group in Chaos might be a good idea." Beowulf nods. "I'll pass the list along to Tsuwabuki, with your leave, just in case, and then get in touch with Motoko." He nods. "That's a good idea." Beowulf asks, "OOC About where am I time-wise wrt Motoko?" Wakaba says, "OOC Which we'll need to do tomorrow when Motoko is on. You're a day behind them; I will probably either wait if Alan isn't avail. next time I run you, or cheat a little on how timelines synch up to let you talk." Beowulf OOCly nods. Well, it's getting about time for me to hit the sack anyway; want to cut here? Wakaba says, "OOC Yeah. I need to get extra sleep too."
