Okay, Jacqui has a very good night's sleep for once.

Jacqueline says, "OOCly a minor miracle these days....."

Jacqui has a very unusual awakening, however.

As you are woken up by someone shaking you, and a female voice says,
"Ne, ne, are you Mutsumi?"  IT sounds like a kid.

Like yourself, she's dark-skinned and has light colored hair.  Unlike
yourself, she's only maybe around 10.

Jacqueline opens one eye very slowly.

Jacqueline says, "...."

Jacqueline stares blankly at the child, in that just-waking-up haze.

Jacqueline looks around.  There's a kid  in here.  Um.... where are her
erstwhile exercise partners?

You are lying on top of Thoric, with your head just below Thoric's chin.
 One of his arms is wrapped up alongside you.  His other arm is wrapped
around

Mutsumi, who is lying on her side facing him on his right side.  The
girl is kneeling over Thoric's head.  She's wearing yellow pajamas with
green turtles on them.

Jacqueline says, "...."

Jacqueline blinks again.

Jacqueline rubs her eyes, trying to shake off the morning haze.  "Um....
no... she's still sleeping."  She peers at the child curiously, who
seems awfully familiar.

The girl looks at Mutsumi.  "Is that Mutsumi?"

Jacqueline's brain percolates.  Yes, yes, the little girl definitely
looks familiar.  Sarah?  Sae?  Suzie?  Sue?  Erm......

Jacqueline nods.  "Yes, but I think it's best if we let them sleep a
little while longer, okay?"  She smiles at the gilr gently.  "Why are
you looking for her?"

She says, "Big sister Motoko said that Mutsumi likes turtles."

Jacqueline's brow furrows.

Jacqueline asks, "Big..... sister... Motoko?"

Jacqueline's brain percolates even more.

Jacqueline says, "....."

Jacqueline asks, "ah... aheh.... heh.... eh.... are you.... by any
chance.... named Suu?"

She nods.  "I am indeed, a girl named Suu."

She starts shaking Mutsumi.  "Ne, ne, wake up!"

Jacqueline asks Suu, "Can you step outside for a moment, Suu?  I need to
talk to Mutsumi first, okay?"

Mutsumi mumbles, "Card 63, sex on tables..."

Jacqueline says, "it'll be quick, I promise."

The_Prof pages, "I'm trying to figure if I should try and have Aeris
meet Suu. They're about the same age, but it almost scares me thinking
of what trouble the two of them could get into together. :)" to you and
Akemi.

You page, "Heh." to The_Prof.

Suu blinks.  "Umm, okay."  She goes over to the dresser drawers.  You
notice the top drawer is open.  She climbs into the drawer and somehow
pulls it shut with herself inside it.

Jacqueline says, "....."

Jacqueline looks at the door

Jacqueline asks, "OOCly is it open?"

Mutsumi mumbles, "Card 28, kisses along the chin..."

The door is shut.

Jacqueline blinks, ponders how to wake up Mutsumi, then leans over to
her and gives her a lengthy, gentle kiss (with tongue probing in
strategic pressure points).

As you are doing this, Suu sticks her head out of the drawer.  "Are you
done yet?" she asks as Mutsumi opens her eyes and smiles at you,
bringing an arm up to wrap around you.

Jacqueline waves an arm lazily indicating 'no, not yet'

Thoric now begins to stir.

You page, "[Kanna just "..."'s.  "And this is my mission team?"]" to
Chris.

You page, "[Kanna] I mean, sure, I'm all for greater connectivity among
team members, but..." to Chris.

Chris pages, "[Lian] ... I don't want to know, do I?" to you.

You page, "[Kanna] Not likely." to Chris.

Suu says, "Oh, I see, you're kissing her awake.  Did a bad person put
her to eternal sleep?"

Jacqueline says, "no... no... I wouldn't say he was bad...."

Suu says, "Okay," then shuts the drawer again.

Jacqueline smmiles nervously at her.  "Aheh... heh... is Motoko awake?
Perhaps you should go check?"

Thoric mumbles, "No, put down the gun..."

Mutsumi now says, "Is there a young girl in our furniture now?"

Jacqueline touches Motoko's hand and transmits telepathically, 'HELP!
HELP! VERY AWKWARD SITUATION!'  while looking perfectly calm

That's a nice trick, given Motoko isn't here.

Jacqueline psychically transmits, 'That's Suu!  Suu of Alars!  The Alars
that hates me because her dad died when we went to rescue cousin
Morgan!'

Jacqueline asks, "OOCly I thought Motoko's elsewhere in the House?"

John says, "OOC Dude, you said you took Motoko's hand and communicated
with her telepathically"

John says, "OOC Whcih is a nice trick, given Motoko is not in the room
with you."

Motoko says, "OOC:  I presume he meant Mutsumi.  As Merc says, damn Ms."

Jacqueline says, "OOCLy I thought I said out loud for Suu to go check on
Motoko"

Jacqueline says, "OOCly if I goofed, well, nevermind.  too late now."

John points to Suu going back in the drawer before you told Suu to go
check on Motoko.

Jacqueline says, "OOCly damn.  you typed faster than me :/"

Mutsumi's eyes widen.  'Oh my,' she says.  'Yes, that could be tricky. 
But aren't you shapeshifted to not look like yourself right now?'

Jacqueline blinks slowly.  Oh my, did she forget to do unshift?

You still have green hair, etc, since you never told me you were going
back to normal :)

Jacqueline says '.... oh.'

You page-pose, "Aerianne considers staying up further, perhaps to do
Kanna/Bey informing Corrine of Gaby's challenge to the Logrus, before
finding out everything that's happened when she was asleep, but doesn't
know how loaded you are." to Akemi.

Akemi pages, "I'm running two people; I'd rather just stick to two for
now." to you.

Akemi pages, "Although if screaming results..." to you.

You page, "Ah so.  Well, I'll stay up a bit longer then." to Akemi.

Jacqueline asks, "OOCly I assume Suu's back in the room now?"

John says, "OOC ATM, Suu is back in the Drawer"

Jacqueline says, 'Let's... er... get dressed quickly and figure out what
we should do from there.  Motoko.  Must call Motoko.'

Thoric yawns, looks at the two of you, blinks, then says, "Oh wow, it
wasn't a dream."

Jacqueline hops out of bed and frantically casts freshen up spells on
herself and her clothing and gets dressed.

Jacqueline grabs Thoric's hand.  'Listen, this is VERY important.  Do
NOT call me Jacqueline.  There's someone nearby right now that would
HATE Jacqueline. Okay?'

Thoric says, "Is something...oh my."

Jacqueline takes Mutsumi's hand and repeats.

Thoric says, "Where are we going, Angie?" to you.  He gets up and starts
getting dressed.

Jacqueline blinks.  'Angie?' she mouths.

Mutsumi lazily starts hunting for her clothing.

He touches your hand, 'Well, I have to call you SOMETHING.  You are now
Angie'

Jacqueline shrugs

Jacqueline says, "Ah... well... we're gonna spend a little time with
Suu-chan first.... and I'll see if we can get Motoko over to help us out
a bit."

Jacqueline casts a quick Instant Tailor spell and puts a 'My name is: 
ANGIE' tag on her MIB suit jacket.

Jacqueline takes a moment to peek into the drawer

Thoric nods.  Soon, you are all dressed. Suu pokes her head out again. 
"Are you done yet?" she asks.

Jacqueline says, "yep, all ready to go.  Mutsumi, this is Suu.  Suu,
this is Mutsumi."

Jacqueline takes Thoric's hand again and explains the Alars connection,
and why Suu finding out who Jaqui is would be very, very, very bad.

Thoric nods.  "I'm Thoric, and this is my bodyguard, Angie.  She's an
AIB."

Suu runs over to Mutsumi.  "Hi!"

Mutsumi pats her on the head.  "Hi, yourself.  So you're Suu-chan?"

Kanna OOCly muahahahs.  Amberites In Black!

Suu nods.  "Yep."

Jacqueline acts all bodyguard-y, peering outside their door and looking
around

Suu says, "Motoko was asleep, so I thought I'd come find you."  She
drags Mutsumi over to the Dresser Drawers.  "We can get back to Motoko's
room this way."

Jacqueline asks, ".... the drawers?"

Suu pulls the drawer open.  "You may have to shift some to fit."

Jacqueline peers inside.

Mutsumi says, "I'm sorry, I can't shapeshift."

There's a shimmering field in the back of the drawer.

Jacqueline peers at the field.  "How are you doing that?"

Suu says, "Doing what?"

Jacqueline says, "that.... that.... the field thing.... in the drawer."

Suu says, "That's a Veil."

Thoric peers into the drawer.  "Weird."

Suu asks Mutsumi, "Can't you turn into a turtle?"

Jacqueline asks, "A veil?"

Mutsumi shakes her head.  "I'm afraid not."

Suu says, "But the door is locked!  How will you ever get out?"

Jacqueline says, "Um.... I think we'll just have to walk, Suu."

Jacqueline says, "locked? Oh."

Jacqueline nudges Thoric

Thoric goes over and opens the door.  "Ta da!"

Jacqueline smiles at Suu.  "Lead the wau, Suu."

You head down the hallway to Motoko's room, where Motoko is still
asleep.  So is Beowulf, who passed out on the couch, still holding Lily.

Jacqueline frets and pokes at Motoko.  "Psst.  Motoko.  Wake up."

Suu clambers up onto the bed and kisses Motoko.  "Wake up, big sister!"

Jacqueline says, "...."

Jacqueline giggles

Motoko snores gently, and then snaps awake and flails as Suu kisses her.
"Aurgh!  Mmph!"

Suu says, "Hi, big sister!  Now you aren't cursed to sleep forever any
more!"

Thoric goes over and shakes Beowulf.  "Wake up, man."

Motoko says, faintly, "Oh."  She looks around at everyone and tugs her
covers up a little.  "Err, good morning."

Jacqueline waves at Motoko frantically behind Suu's back and points at
her name tag.

Mutsumi puts a hand on Motoko's shoulder.

Beowulf stirs slightly. "Mur... murf... mwa..." He then shifts and looks
like he's trying to back to sleep, before all the noise communicates.
"Wha?"

Motoko looks at Jacqueline with the blank incomprehension of someone who
just woke up.  Then her eyes widen slightly as Mutsumi touches her
shoulder.

Beowulf rubs his eyes blearily.

Jacqueline gives Thoric an 'Explain It To Him Please' look.

Motoko stares at everyone some more.  "Why are you all here?" she asks.

Jacqueline says, "As Angie, The Bodyguard Of Thoric, I Honestly Don't
Know, Miss Motoko."

Suu says, "Mutsumi had fallen into eternal sleep, so Angie had to wake
her and Thoric up with a kiss."

Motoko stares.

Motoko stares more.

Thoric says, "Hey, Beowulf, it's the morning."

Motoko stares just a bit more.

Jacqueline facepalms

Mutsumi turns red.

Beowulf asks, "Wha... morning?"

Motoko says, "Err."

Jacqueline really really really tries not to blush.

Thoric doesn't seem to actually hear Suu say that.

Suu says, "Some bad person stole all their clothing too."

Jacqueline utterly fails to not blush at this point.

Motoko does, indeed, stare just a little more.

Motoko says, "Well."

Beowulf sits partway up and opens his eyes, falling off the couch. This
succeeds in waking him up.

Jacqueline says, "Well... erm... it was.... you know...."

Motoko grabs 'Angie' by the collar and pulls her down until they're
nose-to-nose.

Motoko hisses, "In front of a _child_!"

Jacqueline exclaims, "She snuck in!  I didn't know!"

Beowulf says, "Thoric? Oh, did you rest well last night?" He obviously
missed most of what was just said.

Jacqueline exclaims, "It's not my fault!"

Suu turns to Mutsumi, "Would you like to come see my turtles some time?"

Thoric says, "I rested very, very well."

Motoko shakes 'Angie' for a moment, then remembers she's exhausted and
sinks back down into the pillows.  "I'm still dreaming," she says
firmly.  "Any moment, the hole is going to open in reality, and the big
evil bad nasty scary firebird is going to try and come through and char
me to ash."

Mutsumi says, "Later.  I think Motoko is going to have to slaughter us
first."

Motoko seems to think this might be a better scenario to the current
one.

Suu says, "Will the Firebird be riding a Wolf?"

Beowulf smiles gently, though the effect is spoiled a bit by his hair
sticking out all over. "I'm glad." He looks over to check on Lily, when
this time what Motoko said penetrates. "Um? What's happening, Motoko?"

Motoko looks at Suu and asks, softly, "Did you dream something like
that?"

Jacqueline grabs Motoko's hand and initiates Psychic Chat.  'She's here!
 Suu! Suu of Alars!  What's going on?!?!...... and it wasn't my fault.'

Motoko takes her hand away from Jacqui as though she isn't even there,
attention focused on Suu.

Jacqueline sighs

Jacqueline retreats away to the far side of the room, pacing.

Suu says, "Mommy always used to read me that story.  It's very nice."

Suu says, "The firebird and the wolf and the prince all went together
and saved Russia.  Whatever Russia is."

Motoko glances at Beowulf.  "Well, for some reason, Mutsumi and Thoric
and Thoric's bodyguard Angie are all here.  I'm not sure why."

Mutsumi says, "Suu sort of dragged us over here after she woke us up."

Lily yawns loudly, then rubs her eyes.

Beowulf blinks several times. "...oh." He turns a bit to look at Thoric.
"A 'bodyguard', Thoric?"

Motoko says, "You shouldn't go into people's rooms like that, Suu-chan.
Goodness knows what kind of things you might see."

Suu says, "Well, I tried to wake you up, but it didn't work, so I
decided I'd go find Mutsumi so we could talk about turtles and stuff. 
And I found her with Thoric and Angie."

Jacqueline facepalms again.

Motoko says, very calmly, "So I inferred.  Did you talk about turtles?"

Beowulf nods. "It's really not very polite to barge in on people unless
you've asked them if you can come in --"

Suu says, "They wanted to come over here and wake you up."

Motoko says, "Well... I'm awake."  She sighs and glances at the new
arrivals. "Have you all heard the news, or were you very busy?"

Thoric says, "What news?"

Beowulf turns to look at Thoric. "I hope you had fun?" he asks, his
voice going a shade edgier as he looks from Thoric to Mutsumi and back.

Jacqueline asks, "we, ah, know you and Suu are very close, and were
surprised she showed up.  So we wanted to check with you if-..... what
news?"

Motoko says, "Anthy-sama's returned.  With guests."

Jacqueline's eyes widen.  "Gra-....... Miss Anthy's back?"

Jacqueline asks, "where?  Where is she?"

Thoric says, "Oh, cool.  Who'd she bring with her?"

Beowulf smiles a bit at Motoko. "You mean you and great-grandfather
rescued Grandmother."

There are footsteps in the hallway.

Jacqueline, being near the doorway, peers out.

Motoko closes her eyes.  "I consider that fairly incidental," she says
quietly.  "They're back; that's the important thing."  She looks at
Thoric, considering, then says, "I'm really not sure how to put it
except to say that she brought back the King of Chaos from the World of
the Dead, and an infant version of my grandmother."

Moonshade says, "Hey, there you are!"  She looks quite, quite chipper.

Thoric stares in shock.

Jacqueline rushes to Moonshade, grabs her hand, and psychically and
QUICKLY explains the situation.

Mutsumi says, "Ooh, I bet she's a really cute baby!"

Motoko murmurs, "Adorable."

Beowulf smiles gently. "I'm glad she was saved."

Moonshade, says psychically, 'Okay, Angie.  Am I someone else too or
just you?'

Jacqueline says psychically, 'Um.... just don't mention you're a Tenjou
and you're fine.'

Jacqueline blinks at Moonshade.  'And you seem awfully chipper. 
Something good happen?'

Motoko says, "If you meet him, you will probably all be very surprised
by what Dios-sama looks like; don't panic.  He's..."  She closes her
eyes.  "He's very noble and kind."

Motoko looks up at Moonshade in the manner of someone still not sure she
isn't dreaming.  "Oh, it's Moonshade.  Good morning, Moonshade. 
Moonshade, this is Suu.  Suu, this is my cousin, Moonshade."

Moonshade says, "Heya, little one."

Suu says, "Hi!  How are you?"

Moonshade looks around at everyone.  "So, is this a beautiful morning or
what?"

Motoko says, in a faintly bitter voice, "So, did you have a good night
as well, Moonshade?"

Moonshade says, "No hangover.  That alone would make this a great
morning.  I slept very well."  She cracks her knuckles cheerfully.

Jacqueline gapes at Moonshade for no discernable reason.

Motoko says, "Ahh.  I nearly got incinerated by a gigantic evil firebird
from another universe, but it was worth it.  I think."

Beowulf looks down at the still-sleeping Lily, then up at Moonshade. "No
hangover. Yes, I suppose that must be nice."

More footsteps from the hallway.

Motoko says, "Oh, Moriya's a woman.  Don't be surprised.  He apparently
thinks it's his natural state."

Jacqueline, seemingly distracted by something, utterly fails to hear
this. Motoko says, faintly, "It was a very interesting night for
everyone, it seems."

And a red-headed woman wearing Moriya's clothing pops in, carrying a
tray of muffins. "Good morning! Moriya-chan brought breakfast for
everyone!"

You page, "I'd say at this rate, Kanna's assembled for breakfast and
wonderinf where the heck everybody -is-... *wl*" to Akemi.

Akemi pages, "Heh.  Makes sense :)" to you.

You page, "[Kanna looks down at her Gaby Manifestation (deactivated),
flipping it over thoughtfully in her hands, while she eats and wonders
what House Gainax has in the way of morning news services, and Where The
Hell Everybody Is.]" to Akemi.

Bright, cheerful smile.

Suu grabs a muffin.  "MUFFIN!"

Mutsumi says, "Thanks!"

Jacqueline elbows Moonshade and grins.  "You go, girl."

Motoko says, "I will happily have a muffin if I'm not required to get
out of bed to get it."

Beowulf gives a slight, resigned I-might-as-well-give-in smile. "Good
morning, Moriya-chan."

Moriya-chan zips between all the people, offering muffins.

Thoric takes a muffin. Lily grabs one as well.

Motoko takes a muffin and eats it slowly and methodically.

Beowulf takes one as well... when did Lily wake up? o.o

Mitsune limps into the room, looking like she's been beaten with a stick
figuratively.  "Heyo."

Jacqueline wags her eyebrows at Moonshade for no discernable reason.

Motoko says, "Good morning, Mitsune-chan."

Moriya-chan says, "Mitsune-chan! Good, you're up. Have a muffin."

Mitsune takes a muffin.  "Bad morning, everyone."

Moonshade pats Mitsune on the shoulder.  "Bad night?"

Beowulf raises an eyebrow at Mitsune's entrance, ready to toss another
acerbic look her way, but refrains when he sees her condition. "You all
right, Mitsune?"

Motoko says, "If Naru is out of my room, I think I would like to change
my clothes."  Sniff, sniff.  "These ones still smell like smoke."

Zip. "Good morning, Jacqui-chan! Muffin?"

Jacqueline lets go of Moonshade's hand and rejoins the regular world. 
Having failed to hear the conversation earlier due to being in psychic
conversation, she has no idea who the person with the breakfast pastries
is.  "Um..... do I know you?"

Jacqueline asks, "and... aheh... heh... my name is ANGIE, see? 
Nametag?"

Moriya-chan stares blankly. Then looks at the nametag. "Oh. Sorry."

Jacqueline asks, "and you are?"

Moriya-chan says, "Muffin, Angie-san? Oh, and I'm Moriya!" Beam.

Jacqueline blinks

Jacqueline blinks again

Suu says, "Jacqui?  Where's Jacqui?" she sounds terrified.

Motoko swings her legs out of bed, still working on her muffin.  "Does
anyone know if Naru is out of my room?"

Jacqueline looks at Mitsune with a ?!?!?!? expression.

Thoric says, "Not a clue."

Jacqueline says, "I... I... I'll go and check now... yes.  I think I
need the walk."

Chris pages, "[Lian] Hm. Did we get Gaby to make trumps of our friends
on Jade before we left?" to you.

You page, "[Kanna] Probably.  I know at least I've got and you've got
Location trumps for Jade, and I gave Gina a full deck when we went
Akasha.  It'd sound plausable." to Chris.

You page, "[Kanna] And we've certainly got enough Psychic impressions of
the gang for sis to make them on the sly.  I don't think we've got them
fully breifed ON trumps... at least, not all." to Chris.

Chris pages, "[Lian] Yes, yes, yeeeees! It looks like I get my kittyboy!
:)" to you.

Mitsune just sort of looks at Jacqui with the look of a broken woman.

Motoko blanches slightly and kneels down to put an arm around Suu's
shoulders. "If Jacqui were here, she wouldn't hurt you," she says
softly.  "She's not a bad person."

Jacqueline gives Mitsune a 'You did something, didn't you' look before
quickly departing the room and heading for Naru's

Lily looks over at Mitsune.  "Are you okay?"

Mitsune shakes Lily.  "This is your fault!  You've unleashed a monster! 
We're all dooomed!"

Moriya-chan looks around, and then, suddenly, like a switch was thrown,
the manic grin on her face is replaced with a faint smile more
reminiscent of the real Moriya. "Something wrong, Mitsune?"

Motoko rubs at her eyes with one fist.  "Does anyone know if Anthy-sama
is awake?"

Akemi pages, "If you want to come looking for them, you can." to you.

Thoric says, "Not a clue."

Suu says, "But Jacqui eats the flesh of the living for breakfast!"

There are the sound of footsteps in the hallway.

Motoko looks at Thoric with a look that says she knew perfectly well
that he didn't have a clue about anything outside of his threesome.

Beowulf supports Lily with an arm and grabs Mitsune's shoulder with the
other. "Hey, Mitsune! What's happened?"

Lily gets shaken, not stirred.

Thoric blushes just a bit.

Motoko shakes her head at Suu.  "No.  Jacqui isn't like that.  She's
just... well, she doesn't eat the flesh of the living."

There is a Knocking on the Door.

Motoko exclaims, "Come in!  Everyone else has already!"

Moriya-chan puts the tray down, and goes over to separate Mitsune from
Lily. "All right, stop that, Mitsune."

The door opens, revealing a somewhat puzzled-looking Kanna.  "...
oooohkay. So -this- is where everybody ended up instead of the breakfast
table."

Moriya-chan glances over her shoulder. "Ah. Good morning, Aunt Kanna."

Motoko says, "Good morning, Aunt Kanna."

Beowulf looks up at Kanna, a little blearily. "Ah. Kanna... good
morning. That about completes the set, I suppose."

Mitsune just sort ot stares at Moriya mindlessly.

Lily . o O (This is going to be one of those days.)

Kanna blinks at Moriya-chan.  At fried Motoko.  At blitzed Mitsune.  At
bleary Beowulf.  At the girl whom she doesn't recognize at all.

Motoko says, "Well, I'll be _out_ of here as soon as I know people
aren't using my room for other activities."

Kanna asks, "Ah... should I come back later?"

Moriya-chan says, "I imagine we'll be down at the breakfast table soon
enough."

Suu looks at Kanna.  "Hi, big lady!"

Motoko says, "No, no, stay!  Introductions!"  Flails hands.  "Aunt
Kanna, this is Suu-chan.  Suu-chan, this is my aunt, Kanna.  She's my
mother's sister, only not.  Sort of.  It's complicated."

Kanna nods.  "I already ate most of mine, but... hey there, little
girl..." She smiles down at Suu, and then crouches down to get to
eye-level.  "My name's Kanna.  You're... Suu?"

Beowulf struggles to his feet, trying to pull Lily up with him, if he's
got enough balance yet at this time in the morning to pull this off. "It
was a busy night, and apparently a rather populated morning."

Lily staggers to her feet.  "I'd better go take a bath and change into
fresh clothing."

Motoko smiles at Lily, as sweet as a particularly bitter cookie.  "I'd
like to do that too, as soon as I know whether or not Naru is out of my
room."

Motoko says, "Where all my clothing that doesn't reek of smoke is, you
know."

Kanna glances up at Bey and Lily.  "I can somewhat see that.  The
details can wait, though -- I must've slept through the entire thing
of... whatever went on."

Suu nods.  "My mommy is Lady Kodachi of Alars, and my daddy has gone to
live with the Serpent."  She looks very unhappy for a moment, then perks
up.  "Can you shapeshift?"

Beowulf says, "I'll make sure you don't trip along the way." He looks is
if he very much wants to ask her some questions about her side of what
happened last night...

Lily says, "You might find out faster if you go check your room."

She says, "As it's unlikely to come walking down the hallway and inform
you if it's empty."

Beowulf says, "I think someone went to check... but we could probably

Motoko asks, "Ahh, good idea."  Motoko begins to stride off, then
pauses. "Suu-chan, do you want to stay here with all my crazy relatives,
or come with me?"

Moriya-chan looks around briefly, then grabs Mitsune by the hand. "Hmm.
Need to talk to you for a moment." And she pulls her out the door, and
down the hallway.

Suu says, "I'll come with you, okay?"

Kanna mmmms, and squeezes Suu's shoulder gently with one of her free
hands. "I'm sure the Serpent's taking good care of your father, Suu."
She smiles, sadly, and then shakes her head.  "I can't shapeshift... but
my Uncle can... and I can draw things."

Motoko says, "All right."  Motoko takes Suu's hand and heads off to her
rooms.

Beowulf turns to Lily. "Motoko's pretty exhausted... she managed to
rescue Grandmother last night." He leads Lily out of the room as well.

Kanna watches Suu head off.  She then raises her eyebrows at Bey's
statement to Lily.  "... oookay."

Beowulf asks, "Want to come along, and I'll explain along the way?"

Kanna also watches Moriya-Chan and Mitsune depart... and then nods. 
"Sure, Bey... was planning to hook up with you anyway early before we
got down to planning business."

Beowulf nods, slowly. "Right. Revival time. Clean up. Explain. Ergl."

Kanna chuckles a bit, and pats Beowulf on the shoulder.  "You and Lily
look like you've been on the emotiional spin dry cycle.  Nevermind the
rest..." She shakes her head.  "And who was that redheaded woman in
Moriya's clothes?"

Beowulf, Lily, and Kanna head off down the hallway.

Beowulf says, "Um... Moriya." He looks resignedly at Lily.

Kanna blinks.

Kanna blinks again.

Beowulf says, "I'm not sure of the full story, but Mitsune and Lily were
apparently..." He searches for a word, then decides the hell with it.
"...drunk. Moriya came looking for Mitsune, and one of them gave him
some Sippin' Logrus."

Kanna pauses, hauls open her Gi top, and checks that she does, indeed,
have a pair of breasts there.  She then checks the waistband of her
tights, confirming that she has panties on.

Kanna says, "Well, -I've- got all my parts in all the right places, so
either A) Moriya's part-chaos blood decided to kick in to let him get in
touch with his feminine side, B) We've now got assistance from a
gender-reversed Full Amber Universe, or C) I've been catapulted across
dimensions to some place where everything seems the same on first
glance, but is in actuality irrevocably slightly off-kilter."

Kanna says, "Any which has its own set of assumptions which are just TOO
scary for me to contemplate."

Beowulf says, "Which turned him into a woman."

Kanna says, "Okay, that would be option D), then."

Beowulf says, "...right." And avoids making the joke that associating
with Lily has lead him to think of.

Beowulf says, "Let's see... and Motoko and great-grandfather managed to
rescue grandmother, King Dios, and the baby Nanami from Hel's universe.
And nearly got burned to ashes by what I'm guessing is the corrupted
version of the Phoenix from that universe."

Kanna says, "urgl... rescue good.  getting nearly burned to ashes bad."

Beowulf nods. "Yes. I owe Motoko... quite a bit. I was almost certain
we'd have to organize a rescue party for Grandmother as soon as we got
back to Amber from this."

Kanna says, "Makes sense though, if Phoenix is doing the
patrol-the-borders thing for -our- universe..." She nods.  "Yeah. 
Better inform mom of this level of development, which was part of why I
was coming to see you, Bey." She smiles faintly.

Beowulf sighs. "And Suu showed up last, which now has Jacqui
twitching... especially since she came to visit Mutsumi when she
couldn't wake up Motoko."

Kanna asks, "Ahhhh.  That explains 'Angie' in the room?"

Beowulf says, "And found apparently found... um. Yes." He looks a bit
uncomfortable.

Kanna raises an eyebrow, curious but not pressing.

Beowulf says, "Ahhh... you'll need to ask her about it."

Beowulf blushes a bit.

Kanna nods.  "I just might, at that."

Beowulf says, "Other than that, and, well..." He looks a bit boggled
himself, trying to sort out all the various things that happened.

Kanna pats bey on the shoulder again.  "You two go get changed, sort
things out, and I'll wait outside for you?"  She quirks a smile.

Beowulf smiles. "Yes. Hot shower, hot tea, and I might even be
considered human. I hate mornings."

Kanna chuckles softly.

Lily says, "I'm ready to go DIE."

Beowulf looks over at Lily and winces. "Hangover?"

Kanna says, "Now now, no dying on my watch.  Being exceptionally
hungover or fed through a cheese grater... that tends to slip by."

Beowulf sighs and gently holds her in his arms, all desire to ask
pointed questions draining away. "It's all right, Lily, I'm here."

Kanna looks sheepish, and shuts up.  "I'll.. um.. wait out here, then. 
You two take all the time you need."

Beowulf raises an eyebrow helplessly at Kanna. "I'm sorry... I'll try to
make it quick."

You hear the sound of people approaching.

Beowulf looks up to see who's coming, still holding Lily.

Kanna looks the direction of approaching people.

Moriya and Mitsune are approaching.

Moriya-chan seems much calmer than before. More like how...he is
normally, at least in demeanor, if not appearance.

Kanna ahs, and waves to Moriya and Mitsune as they come up.  "Hey
there..."

Moriya-chan says, "Good morning."

Beowulf smiles crookedly. "Hello again... we were just going to get
cleaned up and dressed. Could you fill Kanna in on what's been
happening?"

Kanna quirks a slight smile.  "I seem to have slept through all the
excitement of last night."

Beowulf says, "Er, Lily and I were going to get cleaned up."

Moriya-chan nods. "Well, there was, apparently, an accident involving a
drink called Sippin' Logrus. It's turned me into a woman, unfortunately,
and I won't be able to change back until two days from now."

Moriya-chan is really quite calm as she talks about this.

Kanna says, "Ah... hah." She hrms, and nods.  She tilts her head
thoughtfully. "Well, for what it's worth, the look works well on you...
not planning to fast-time the two days to get changed back?  It's make a
heck of a disguise."

Moriya-chan says, "Exactly. Not only are the Serpent's Horn expecting a
man named Moriya facing them, they are expecting Hisame Atsuko to be one
of their prisoners, instead of fighting against them." She pushes her
hair up into something that approximates her grandmother's hairstyle for
the effect. "Like so."

Kanna hrmmms, and nods, tapping her chin with her fingertips.  "Yeah, it
definitely heightens the resemblence."

Kanna says, "You think you'll need a little more sparring practice to
get used to the different body?" She quirks a grin.

Moriya-chan says, "Actually, yes. I've been moving around a lot to get
used to the, ah, different balance of this body."

Beowulf gently picks up Lily and carries her off to his room.

Moriya-chan tilts her head. "In fact, I should probably spar with
Moonshade as well as you, since I've already promised her that I'd do
so."

Beowulf says, "We can clean up in the bag, Lily-chan, there's a very
nice whirlpool tub there..." His voice trails off as they walk away.

Kanna chuckles, and nods, leaning against the wall, waving to Bey and
Lily as they go into their room.  "Sounds like a plan.  I'll admit,
growing up, things were interesting as my center of balance changed,
which affected my training with Cousin Ramon and my sword-practice with
Aunt Utena.  Took a while to get used to.  But I've got confidence
you'll adjust to the differences soon enough."

Moriya-chan looks down at herself. "I may need to borrow some bindings
from Motoko, or something. I'm bouncing around too much like this."

Kanna tries not to grin.  Really, she tries.  "Either that, or get a
good sport bra."

Mitsune says, "I can loan you a bra."

Moriya-chan thinks about this. "I think," she says, slowly, "that
putting on a bra is a step that I'm not quite yet ready for."

Kanna says, "Suit yourself."

Damasq exclaims, "OOC:  Whereas binding my chest with painful bandages

Kanna OOCly says, "It's more masochistic.  Perhaps we should get him a
corset?"

Mitsune says, "I promise it won't permanently meld with your flesh
mutating you."

Kanna says, "Be glad you won't ever have to go near a corset, Moriya." 
She shudders.

Moriya-chan's brow furrows. "A corset?"

Moriya-chan shakes her head and shrugs. "Well...if you've got a plain,
functional sportsbra that would fit me, Mitsune, I guess I'll borrow
one."

Kanna says, "The... precursor to the Bra.  Kinda a mutant combination of
chest and abodomen binding, and..." she gestures to her waist-to-chest
area. "-Ghastly- things.  I tried wearing one once... ONCE...."  She
shakes her head again.  "I pondered finding the inventor out in shadow
and..."

She says, "You don't want one that converses in swahili and balances
yoru checkbook while being decorated with rubies and made of golden
thread, then?"

Moriya-chan nods slowly. "Ah," she says, to Kanna.

Kanna says, "But you don't need to hear my horror stories.  Believe me,
bras are more comfortable."

Moriya-chan says, "I'm afraid not, Mitsune."

Kanna says, "No thank you, Mitsune."

Kanna says, "And what's this about King Dios having shown up?" Her brow
furrows.

Mitsune says, "Apparently, he was like the lone survivor in Hel's
universe, and Motoko rescued him last night or something."

Moriya-chan shakes her head. "That's a question for Motoko or Anno-sama,
I think."

Kanna ahs, and nods.  "Right.  Well... you two get settled too, and I'll
wait?"  She looks rueful.

Mitsune says, "Oh, I'm all cleaned up and ready for breakfast.  More or
less." Moriya-chan nods. "We'll see you in the meeting room shortly."

Kanna nods.  "I'll just wait for Bey and Lily to get out and ready,
then."

Moriya-chan waves, and drags Mitsune away. "Okay, I need to borrow some
supportive clothing from you, and then we can go meet up with
everyone...."

Mitsune says, "Oh, okay.  See you in a little while, Kanna!"

Kanna exclaims, "Later, you two!"

Kanna OOCly says, "Yes, it is."

The_Prof pages, "No idea. o.o Going to be leaving sometime tomorrow
afternoon and probably staying in St. Louis overnight." to you.

John says, "OOC I really don't want to, like, kill you.  ^^;;;"

You page, "... well, that'd keep him out of any thursday-evening

The_Prof pages, "Hm. Hopefully I can make sure Lily's all right tonight,
then we can talk tomorrow... hotel rooms have phone lines, you know. :)"
