This page contains all my stories that don't fit any particular
category
or there aren't enough in that category to get their own major page, or
whatever. A few of these can be found on other pages as well. I
included
them here in case...well, just cause I could.
All characters are copyrighted/trademarked etc by their creators
(who mostly aren't me:) So don't sue me, I'm broke.
BAILESUCOM Stories
I have done a series of stories which are written as if they were
INFOCOM
Text Adventure transcripts. Here they are:
- A Chibi-Chibi Forever Voyaging:
This
is an INFOCOM game parody; it is written as a transcript in which you
are
Chibi-Chibi, enigmatic and excessively cute small child with afunny
hair-do.
All you want is a glass of water, but you're going to go through hell
to
get it. COMPLETE
- Eudial M for Murder:
You
are Eudial. Your favorite color is red. You have your own
car.
Your quest is to find the Messiah. Without getting picked off by
your associates in the Witches Five. Without getting killed off
by
the Sailors. Without missing your soap operas. Without
being
kidnapped by an alien and forced into a weight gain clinic.
PARTIAL DRAFT.
- Photo Sticker Quest:
An
Infocom
parody story, using the cast and situations of the video
game/anime/manga
Love Hina. It's not a very hard quest. All you want is for
six women you know to pose with you for photo stickers. That
couldn't
possibly be THAT hard, could it? COMPLETE
- Shampoo's Quest:
This story can be blamed on Stefan Gagne, who showed me a story that
was
a parody of an INFOCOM adventure game. Given that I loved those games,
it inspired me to create a Ranma 1/2 Infocom adventure transcript,
which
you'll find here. TASS Awards Award for Annual 1997, 6th place
(tie) COMPLETE
- Slayers: Grue:
This
is a parody of Zork itself, starring the Slayers' cast.
PARTIAL
DRAFT.
Bubblegum Crisis Stories
I have yet to finish a very canonical BGC story, but you'll find my
attempts here.
Bubblegum Exodus:
This story, if I ever finish it (don't hold your breath) would have
involved
a robot messiah and a lot of me (the author) trying to look clever by
translating
the events of the Book of Exodus into Mega-Tokyo. INCOMPLETE,
LIKELY TO STAY THAT WAY.
Crossovers
My brain endless cross-fertilizes series. It is my nature.
My blessing and my curse. Here's some of the things I've
unleashed
on an unsuspecting world.
Anime-Anime Crossovers
- Still Waters Run Deep:
This is
my Ranma/UY crossover series! See Ataru fall in the pool of the drowned
girl! See Shinobu throw lightning! See the wrath of the truant officer!
See Ataru chase Ranma-chan! See Ryuunosuke go on a blind date with
Tsubasa!
More
shape-changing fun than you can shake a stick at! Six episodes to
date, one by Jeff Hosmer. A sporadically continuing series.
- RanmaPunk 2033:
A
Ranma
1/2 / BGC crossover! See Boomers get their heads chopped off with
Spatulas!
See Ranma and Priss duke it out! See Genom try to wreck another major
city!
See the Knight Sabers get really, really confused! See everyone get
manipulated!
Including the manipulators! Fun! Fun! fun! TASS Awards Award for
Annual 1994, 13th place (tie) COMPLETE
- Children of Fire:
Children
of Fire is a Sailor Moon/Ranma fusion which rebuilds the history of
both
series from the ground up. It opens with Ranma's arrival in Tokyo,
where
his father intends him to honor his engagement to Rei Hino and takes
off
from there. A CONTINUING SERIES.
- Marmalade Moon: A
Sailor Moon/Marmalade
Boy/El Hazard/AMG fusion/crossover/something or another. Miki wishes
her
life was more interesting. Big mistake when a meddling goddess is
listening.
Now, she is Tennis Warrior Moon, and her life is becoming more
interesting
than most people would wish on their worst enemies. A CONTINUING
SERIES.
- My Mega-Crossover Universe
- Dance of Shiva: This
story
is a mega-crossover of BGC/TM/SM/AMG and many other series. The year is
2034. Life seems much the same as normal for our heroines, the Sabers.
Get up in the morning, blow up a few boomers, pretend to have a normal
life, eat, go to bed. But behind the veneer of normality, trouble is
brewing,
for the city has been targeted for destruction. The Dance of Shiva is
about
to begin. COMPLETE
- Black Moon Rising: Black
Moon
Rising is the story of Arcadia N'goya, a traveller from 1500 years in
the
future of Crystal Tokyo, hunted by the survivors of the Black Moon
Cult.
Drawn to the past by a Time Key, she finds herself in the middle of a
society
that seems impossible to her, a dream to which she knows the ending, an
ending of destruction and death. Her arrival sets the events in motion
that may bring that end far sooner than she anticipates, for it is her
arrival and her means of arrival which may make possible the the
victory
of her most bitter enemies, for the Black Moon Crisis is about to
begin...
COMPLETE
- GALACTIC ENCYCLOPEDIA:
This
is a reference for my Mega-Crossover Universe, containing large amounts
of back story, future history, etc. SPORADICALLY UPDATED.
- Symphony of the
Sabers:
Nene's Big
Adventure. This was intended to be one of four Dance of
Shiva
sequels, one per Knight Sabre. It may be the only one which will
ever get finished. I will likely finish this once I manage to
remember
what my plan for it was. ^^;;; INCOMPLETE, BUT
WILL
BE FINISHED EVENTUALLY
- Revenge: You may or
may
not
know what a Revenge Fic is. You may, in fact, know TOO
MUCH.
In which case you should avoid this. This wasn't the story which
triggered that tidal wave, just my response to the very first one,
whose
author I no longer remember. In this, my characters set out to
get
even with me for all I've put them through. Yes, it's a
Self-Insert.
I have been told I should have been more cruel to myself, and this is
likely
true. You may like this, or you may hate me. But here it
is. COMPLETE
- The Tesla Agenda: The
Cast
of Ranma 1/2 writes a BGC fanfic round robin. I co-wrote this
with
Travis Butler and Mike Loader (with several contributions by Nick
Leifker
as well) and quite enjoyed it. COMPLETE
-
Anime - Non-Anime Crossovers
- Wheel of Time Related Crossovers
- Ranma 1/2 | Wheel of Time
crossover:
Ta'averen 1/2: A story that melds elements of Ranma 1/2
and
The Wheel of Time fantasy series. A continuing saga that even has its
own
mailing list! Carl Macek is about to escape from the prision in which
he
was resealed by the Ronin at the end of the last age, and against him
stands
only a lonely band of farm folk from the tiny village of Nerima's
field,
a cranky old Aes Sedai, her stoic warder, and a half-blind old
gleeman...but
among those farm folk is the Ronin reborn... THIS PROJECT IS NOW
LONG
DEAD, BUT HAS BEEN REBOOTED WITH JUST ME WRITING AND A FAIR NUMBER OF
CHANGES.
SEE BELOW.
- Parallel Lives: A Ranma
1/2
Wheel of
Time crossover. This is based on a TP we did a long time ago at
Animemush.
Akane is stranded in another world (the world of the Wheel of Time) and
everyone has to go looking for her, but this isn't quite your normal
rescue,
because Akane has never been mistaken for the saviour of the world
before...Currently
up to chapter 15. A Continuing Series.
- Wheel of Anime: This
is the
Reboot of Ta'averen 1/2. The early chapters of Ta'veren 1/2 have
been rewritten, cast changes made and the whole project given a kick in
the butt. While coming slowly, I still expect to finish before
Jordan
does. Currently up to Chapter 4 of Book 2. A Continuing
Series.
- End of the Third Age:
This
is a Godzilla / Wheel of Time / Tales of the Floating Vagabond
Story.
GO GO GODZILLA!!!!!! COMPLETE
- World of Darkness Related Crossovers
- Chasing the Moon
and
the Sun:
Chasing the Moon and the Sun is a Sailor Moon/Changeling fusion, in
which
the Senshi must stop the century from ending with the Fenris Wolf
devouring
the sun. The fact that they don't remember ever BEING magical warriors
isn't going to help... A CONTINUING SERIES. SORT
OF.
I WILL FINISH THIS EVENTUALLY, I HOPE.
- Ranma vs. the Sabbat:
One of many unfinished Christmas Break projects; Akane gets vampirized,
Ranma goes to war with the Sabbat. UNLIKELY TO BE CONTINUED,
THOUGH
YOU NEVER KNOW.
- Vampire Moon 1
and Vampire
Moon 2 (Incomplete) An unfinished project of Jeff and I in
which
the Senshi are vampires in the World of Darkness. Fairly well
dead.
- Nine Princes
in
Anime: From
the Start of Chapter 2: Ukyou, Yuu, and I took some of
the
'family fortune' and bought ourselves a black van for the trip to
Anime,
the Eternal City. Ukyou wanted to get a jeep, but you can put a lot
more
guns in the back of a van. We also grabbed some clothing, music, and
other
things you need on a quest to take over a city with three people. Yeah,
we sounded insane...we were. I think the only reason Ukyou came was
that
she wanted to be with me, and Yuu wouldn't help her take me to an
insane
asylum. We also got my sword rack from our house and some knick knacks
we didn't want to leave behind. Then we locked up, turned on the
burglar
alarm and hit the road. I let Yuu drive. This is a fusion of
Zelazny's Amber series with a variety of anime series. It is a
continuing
project, currently up to chapter 4. I've completed the first book, and
will eventually launch into book two.
- My DC/Anime Fusion Page:
This page is dedicated to some silly stories set in a universe fusing
the
DC superheroes universe with various anime series. So far, I've done
two
stories in the 'Silly Origins' subseries; once I do the secret origins
of the major chars, I'll be moving into some other more elaborate
tales. ON
HOLD UNLESS INSPIRATION STRIKES.
- Sailor Moon/Arthurian Crossover
page:
This is a link to my collection of Sailor Moon/Arthurian story cycle
crossovers.
This is a joint project of myself and Chris Davies, who swears he will
eventually write the earlier stories of the cycle. Honest :) Currently
Completed are A Senshi in Queen Rei's Court, and "The Healing of
Senshi Urre", also found on Jeanne Hedge's excellent short story page
(See
link above). Enjoy! ALL PROJECTS CURRENTLY COMPLETE, BUT I MAY
POKE AWAY AT THIS SOME DAY.
- Arise from your slumber--A
SM/Eternal Champion
Crossover: This is...well, an unusual story. It's one of
my few that uses an experimental writing style. It is set at the end of
the dark years of the Great Ice that precedes the founding of Crystal
Tokyo.
The fate of the world rests in the hands of a woman who can't even
remember
her own name...let alone how to save it. COMPLETE
- Bubblegum Complex: The
Story
of
the Trouble Sabres. This is a Bubblegum Crisis /
Paranoia
alt universe story The Knight Sabres are a group of elite
troubleshooters
in a society ruled by an insane computer. A dark comedy. A
CONTINUING SERIES. SORT OF. I WILL FINISH THIS
EVENTUALLY,
I HOPE.
- Slayers: Exile:
This
story involves Lina and company, exiled out of their home universe into
the universe of Mystara. It's all Xellos' fault. Really. A
CONTINUING SERIES. SORT OF. I WILL FINISH THIS
EVENTUALLY,
I HOPE.
- Baroquemon:
This is
what happens when my brain has nothing better to keep it busy.
This
is sort of Pokemon in the Baroque era (mid-sixteenth century). It stars
Ash as King Louis XIV of France, Misty as Queen Christina of Sweeden,
and
Brock as King Charles II of England, searching for the things they need
to take back their thrones... INCOMPLETE AND UNLIKELY TO BE
FINISHED
UNLESS INSPIRATION HITS.
- Random Elements:
A
Dirty Pair / Foundation Story. The Dirty Pair try to take a
vacation
and end up destroying the Seldon Plan. Oops. Chapter 1 is
done,
but the story is unfinished overall. INCOMPLETE, MAY
EVENTUALLY
BE FINISHED.
- Stormbreeders:
A
Geobreeders / TORG story. I used this as backstory for the group
of Geobreeder-based NPCs I use in my TORG games. However, I never
finished it. INCOMPLETE, MAY EVENTUALLY BE FINISHED.
- The Fandom Menace:
A
Star Wars / Anime parody of The Phantom Menace. Didn't get much
done
before that Christmas vacation ended. INCOMPLETE AND
UNLIKELY
TO BE FINISHED UNLESS INSPIRATION HITS.
- Travesty of the Daleks:
One
Christmas break I was inspired to begin this story, but never finished
it. It is a Dr. Who / Futaba-kun Change fanfic. INCOMPLETE,
MAY EVENTUALLY BE FINISHED.
- Nirnaeth Arnoediad
(Battle
of Unnumbered
Tears): This is an AMG / Evangelion / Tolkein story,
involving
what eventually happened to the Silmarils lost into the earth in the
time
of Second Impact. "In all the deeds of Melkor the Morgoth upon Arda, in
his vast works and in the deceits of his cunning, Sauron had a part,
and
was only less evil than his master in that for long he served another
and
not himself. But in after years, he rose like a shadow of Morgoth
and a ghost of his malice, and walked behind him on the same ruinous
path
into the Void." -- "The Valaquenta", The Silmarillion, J. R. R.
Tolkien INCOMPLETE AND UNLIKELY TO BE FINISHED
UNLESS
INSPIRATION HITS.
- Call of Kyoto:
This
was a Lovecraft / Kenshin humor round robin which Mike Loader and I
began
but never finished. INCOMPLETE AND UNLIKELY TO BE FINISHED
UNLESS
INSPIRATION HITS.
Cthulhu Crossovers
The Insects from Shaggy
If H.P. Lovecraft and Terry Pratchett collaborated to do a
Scooby-doo
story, they might have written this. Or maybe not. COMPLETE

Children
of an Elder God (Rod's Archive)
Children of an Elder
God (My Archive)
An Evangelion Elseworlds I'm co-authoring with RPM.
TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
---The Second Coming--William Yeats
Sometimes, children go into their parent's closet and dressup,
pretending
to be their parents, acting as if they were in charge, as if they ruled
the house, as if they were the kings and queens of the Earth. But then
their parents come home, and the game is revealed as a lie.
For millenia, humanity has played at being kings and queens, at
ruling
the world they call home. Now, the car is pulling into the drive...
A CONTINUING SERIES. AND CLOSE TO COMPLETION!!!!!!!
Kimagure Orange Road Stories
She's Got the Power: This
is an unfinished project in the backstory of the Dance of Shiva
universe,
dealing with Hikaru's acquisition of psychic abilities. HOPEFULLY
TO BE FINISHED EVENTUALLY.
School Rumble Stories
My School Rumble stories have their own
page here.
Utena Stories
My Utena stories have their own page here.
Non-Anime Stories
I don't write too many non-anime stories, but I have composed a few
such
tales.
The Color of Trust
This is the most depressing story I have ever written. It is a
tragedy
set in the Wheel of Time universe, dealing with one reason why no one
trusts
Aes Sedai.
Getting into the Red
This is a lighthearted story of four thieves trying to steal back
the
load of cinnabryl a group of orcs stole from them while they were
trying
to steal it from each other. It is set in the 'Savage Coast' region of
Mystara, an AD&D game setting.
The Summer People
I do write original fiction occassionally in which everything is
completely
of my own creation. Usually no one actually wants to read it though :)
But I keep writing anyway. Maybe I'm just insane.
This is a continuing story of two relatively normal college students
who are drawn into the war between the Seelie and Unseelie Fae. Angela
Bedos-Rezak and Harry Crags are about to find out the world is far
stranger
than they knew.
The Eternal Game
This is a lighthearted fantasy spoof of the 'People from our world
go
to other world and save it" genre. Terri, Hayao, Karin, and Andrew have
been chosen by the dieties Athena, Baltor (Not to be confused with
Balto),
Ehlviz, and Sandy to save the world of Karinth, the setting of their
favorite
RPG, Advanced Tunnels and Wombats.
Needless to say, this was NOT a very wise decision on the part of
either
group :)
Cadfael's Bridge
This is an odd Arthurian story from the viewpoint of a bridge. UNFINISHED,
UNLIKELY TO BE FINISHED UNLESS INSPIRATION STRIKES
Circle of Seasons
This is a WOD Changeling story, about an old Grump being pulled back
into the life she thought she'd left when an old friend shows up. UNFINISHED,
UNLIKELY TO BE FINISHED UNLESS INSPIRATION STRIKES
The Pearl Homepage
This is the remains of an anthology project set in an alternate
history
designed for telling pulp adventure stories. The project failed,
but my stories, at least, remain.
